Lights Of The City (Markiplier Fanfic)

The birthday girl.

I come home from, yet another sucking day at work. I flop down on the couch. I'm positively exhausted. Right as I start to relax, I hear someone knocking at door.

Holy crap, it's 8:30! Who could that be?

I walk over and open the door. It's Gabi! She's one of my best friends.

"Hi Gabi, what do you want?"

"Happy Birthday!" she says

"Thanks, sorry, work has sucked lately."

"Well go fix up because we're taking you out tonight. It's your 24th birthday for Christ's Sake!" she says happily

"Um, ok. be right back."

I walk to my room and pull on a casual red dress and a black jacket to go over it. I pull out a simple pair of black heels and put them on. I brush my hair and touch up my makrip and head out.

"Ooh, sexy girl!" she winks

"Yeah whatever!"

We walk out of the house and I get into her car.

"Happy Birthday!" I hear when I get in the car.

I look back, t to see my friends Jay and Emma

"Hey Jay! Hey Emma! thanks. I think this might be just what I need."

We drive to a nearby bar and go in. I've never heard of or been too this one before though.

"Ready?" Gabi asks

"Lets Go!"

We all order our drinks and wait for them. Jay orders a beer, Emma and I order just a pop for now, and as always Gabi orders something strong that I can't remember the name of. They bring out our drinks and, being Gabi, she drinks hers fast.

"Oh dear god Gabi...What will we do with you?"

"Oh well!" she says

"I'm driving home!" I announce to the group. I'm only having 1 small drink so I should be fine. If not, Becky, Gabi's Bartender friend can drive us.

Gabi pulls me out of my chair and drags me over to where other people are dancing. We both start dancing to a song I don't recognize. Basically if I've never heard it on the radio, I've never heard it. We keep dancing until I think about Emma And Jay. I walk over back and see then sharing some nachos. I walk up behind them and steal one.

"Haha!"

"Fuck you!" she says

"Shut up. I'm hungry. Plus it's my birthday!"

"If you're hungry then order yourself some Damn food!"she laughs

"Hey I'll be back, I'm gonna use the restroom." Jay says

"Yeah. I'm gonna go find Gabi. Make sure she's not too drunk." Emma says

"I'll be here!"

They both go off to do whatever and I sit at the bar. I feel hand come to my shoulder. I swivel around to see this man standing there.

"Can I help you?"

"Come on sweetheart, let's dance" he says, grabbing both wrists and pulling me out of my chair

"I'm sorry, you must have the wrong girl. My name is Taylor."

"Oh why do you say that babe, we may not know each other but that doesn't mean anythingl

"Get away asshole! I don't want to dance!"

"Oh dearie, I always get what I want! Even if I have to take it by force, now don't be an ignorant bitch and let's dance!" he smiles devilishly
