OK, so since this is ending soon, these next chapters are going to set things up for the next book. Also we have this chapter, the next one (mabye 1 more) then the credits then the epilogue which will be the ending. I'm sad its ending, its been really fun to write! but I'm also excited for the next book which will come out in 1 or 2 weeks.

I close the bedroom door quietly. I didn't want to wake Kimberly. I sat down with mark on the couch, he was asleep. I looked over at his laptop, he was uploading his new video and it must've been taking so long that he fell asleep. It was late, it was 10:30. I nudge his shoulder a little bit and he wakes up.

"Hmmm, what?...."

"You fell asleep."

"Oh yeah? This damn video won't upload. Its taking forever." he says

"Well, YouTube can be dumb sometimes."

"Yeah, you got that right." he says groggily

"Is that the video I recorded with you?"

"Yeah. I got it all edited when you were putting Kimmy to sleep" he says

I noticed the dog sitting next to him with her head in his lap. Kaia was our 10 month old Siberian husky. We adopted her about 6 months ago. I pet her head a little. She opens her eyes and looks at me. Her warm brown eyes were sweet. She went back to sleep on her daddy's lap. I sigh and sit back. The TV just showed whatever came on after what Mark was watching. It was turned down very low, I couldn't hear most of it. I pulled my legs in on the couch. Mark put his arm around my shoulders. We were both tired. The dog stretches then gets off the couch. She goes in the kitchen, she was probably thirsty. A siren went off outside, but other than that it was quiet.

"Damn it siren if you wake up my daughter I'm gonna come and stab you."

"In the Butt!" Mark adds

"Shhh! Don't wake her up!" I laugh

He looks over at the bedroom then back at me.

"Shhhhhhh..." he says

I try to contain my laughter so I don't wake her up myself.

"Alright, I'm tired. Wanna go to bed?"

"Yeah let's go." he says

He shuts off the TV and Closes his laptop.

"C'mon Kaia!" She gets up from the kitchen and follows us into the bedroom. She goes and lays down on her dog bed. She does the weirdest thing at night, when she gets in her bed she takes her little hedgehog plush toy and lays her head next to it. I think its cute. Mark comes out of the bathroom, being careful to be quiet and gets in bed. I join him and cover myself up with blankets. I had been living on coffee since Kimmy came. I cherished my sleep at night and slept in whenever possible.

"Hey." Mark said

"What?"

"We almost forgot to say I love you." he says
