When I wake up it's morning. I walk put into the living room and see everyone still asleep. I open the curtains a little bit to let some light in. Gabi wakes up and points to Jay, trying to keep from laughing. I look over. He's in the funniest position ever and has no shirt on.
"wake him up, I wanna see his reaction."
She gets up out of the recliner and goes over to him. She picks up his shirt and looks at him.
"Jay Get Up!" she says loudly
"Hmm, What?" he says groggiliy
We both laugh our heads of, waking up Emma.
"Here, put a shirt on. I don't want the neighbors thinking anything."
He pulls his plain grey shirt over his head and follows us into the kitchen.
We make breakfast and thenI Gabi drives Emma And Jay home. I go into the living room and sit on the couch. Someone Knocks on the door.
"Ugh. Coming."
I open the door to be surprised by who it is.
"Hi Mark. Didn't expect to see you again today."
"Yeah. I wanted to check up on you. Make sure you weren't hurt." he says
"Aw thanks. Oh come on in by the way."
"Thank you." he comes in
"I'm feeling better. I'm still a little sore though. I haven't hurt so bad since I was punched in the stomach in 11th grade"
"Oh, ok as long as your doing ok." He smiles
"Yeah I'm fine. I promise."
"Ok, well if you're ok I'm gonna head out. I'm helping a buddy move some stuff around in his apaferment."
"Ok. Have Fun" I say with sarcasm
"Yeah ha Ha HA!" he says
He walks out of the apartment and gets in his car and drives off. I look over at the clock to see that it's already noon. I shrug and go into the living room as I hear a car pull up. I look out the window. Gabi must be back. I go outside to meet her.
"Hey. That took a little longer than I exexpected."
"Shut the fuck up. I got you lunch." she tosses me the bag of food
"Thanks." I eat one of the fries out of the bag
"Hey I'm going to the ice rink later. Wanna come?" she asks
"I don't know...I'm kinda achey right now and falling will just make it worse."
"Come on. Please?" she begs
"Alright fine."
"Cool." she says
We both return to our houses to continue our afternoon.
