Ch.9 "Take a Chance"

Narrator's P.O.V.

"Wake up boys and girls!" screamed the same jounin on the intercom. Mitsuki, Boruto, and Sarada immediately woke up startled by the loud and obnoxious man. "*sighs*...I'm getting sick of that baka on that intercom every morning" said Sarada. "Yeah, I agree"added Boruto.

"Well what're we gonna eat" Mitsuki asked. "I don't know and I don't have anymore Ryo either" said Boruto. "I don't have any Ryo either" said Sarada. "I could cook you guys something to eat though" Sarada suggested. "That'd be great" Boruto replied. "Hmm, sounds nice" Mitsuki agreed. "Great, so would you mind coming with me to go to the farmers market and picking up some ingredients Bolt" asked Sarada. "Sure Hun" said Boruto happily as he got up and approached her side. They then walked out of the dorm hand in hand smiling. 'They are so perfect for each other' thought Mitsuki as he smiled.

They passed many of their friends along the way. As they started approaching the store, they spotted Kakashi walking with Shizune. "Kakashi, may I ask what you're doing with Shizune" demanded Sarada. "Hmmm....good question" he hesitated and although he was wearing that mask as usual, you could see a visible blush starting to form. "Shizune" Sarada gestured but she started turning red as well. "Are you two dating" asked Sarada. "OK fine, we're on a date" Shizune said quietly. "That's all I wanted to ask" said Sarada. "And you try something Pervy me and my Mom will be looking for you" she said as she gave an 'I'm watching you' gesture.

After Sarada had 'released' them, they went into the farmers market and got the ingredients they needed. "Sarada do you need some help carrying that bag" asked Boruto. "No, I can handle it on my own" she says as she trips over a rock. The bag starts to fall and Boruto caught her and the bag simultaneously with a graceful technique. "I knew they were too heavy" he said victoriously. "Yeah, yeah whatever Uzumaki" she uttered in defeat.

They them made their way back to the dorm. Today, Sarada decided to cook an American style breakfast with bacon, eggs, and French toast sticks topped with Maple syrup. As he was munching on his breakfast, he was hit with a thought. 'Heh... Hime forgot our morning kiss... He he...I'll get her back' he thought as he leaned near Sarada.

Boruto's P.O.V.

"Hey Sarada" I said as I swiped one of her slices of bacon. Mitsuki turned to look as he ate his eggs. "Hey give me back my bacon. Now if anything, you never touch a women's food!" yelled Sarada. "You owe me" I said mildly. Her facial expression softened. "What do I owe you honey" she asked.

"You never gave me my morning kiss" I pouted. "So I'm gonna eat your bacon" I said as I closed my eyes and went to stick it in my mouth. "Oh no your not" she says. Suddenly, I open my eyes to find her on the other end of the strip of bacon blushing like wild. I then feel my face start to heat up she then bites half of it and pulls away. I then eat the other half. I see her lean in again. She then leans in again and kisses my lip softly and pulls away again. I then get sad as she pulled back away. "Better" she asked. "Much better" I replied smiling.

We then continued to finish our breakfast. "Hmm....I wonder how Denki and Iwabee are doing" I said aloud. "Oh I'm pretty sure they're just fine" said Sarada. "Yeah you're right" I said back still pondering. "All students, report to the chunin exam stadium" said the jounin on the intercom. "You ready" I asked her as I gathered all my weapons together. "As I said before......I was born ready" said Sarada as she pushes up her glasses.
