Ch.2 " A Date"?

Boruto's P.O.V.

I gritted my teeth as I began on my Rasengan training. "Uurrghh" I groaned as I focused my chakra to my palm. I then focused it all into the same direction.

"Agghhhh" I shouted. Suddenly the balloon started lurching in all directions but only a dime sized hole appeared in its side. I wanted it to pop, like Pervy Sage's did. I did that another 20 times but still got the same results. By now, it has been an hour and still no luck. Sarada was taking a nap on a nearby oak tree and Mitsuki was making a bed out of yellow, orange, and red leaves.

'I guess they got tired of watching me fail to pop a balloon' I thought.

I then thought about my dad's Rasengan. I then saw how the current in his flowed. That's when I got it. "Kage Bunshin No Jutsu" I announced. In a cloud of smoke, there was an exact copy of me. "Now" I said. I then focused all my chakra into my palm like before but this time, my Shadow Clone added his chakra to my palm. I then controlled the direction of my chakra into my palm and a blue yet almost invisible ball of chakra appeared.

"GOOOO, RASENGAN" I shouted as I threw it baseball style at a nearby tree.

"Huh" said Sarada just waking up. "Ker-Boom". After the dust cleared, the Rasengan nearly decimated the tree. The only thing left was a fragment of the trunk and tattered leaves. "Woah! Not bad" said Sarada. "Well, it's getting late. We should set out our tent and camp out" said Sarada. "You're right" I said. I then set out my tent and gathered some twigs and rocks. I set the twigs in a pile and surrounded the pile with rocks so the fire won't escape.  "Go Sarada" I said. She only nodded. She suddenly started doing hand signs. "Katon: Goukakyu No Jutsu!" she said as a stream of fire was discharged by her mouth. "POOOFFF". The fire was done. Now time to eat. I went down to the nearby river and put some water in a cup. I then poured the water into my cup that had my ramen in it. I then held it near the fire until it was boiling.

I then quickly ate it. I really didn't care if it was hot. Sarada said she really wasn't hungry so she just ate some popcorn she brought. Mitsuki went to the river and caught several trout and cooked those and ate them. Afterwards I crawled in my tent and got in my sleeping bag. I then dozed off and fell asleep.

Sarada's P.O.V.

After I finished eating my popcorn I cooked, I rolled over on my back and gazed at the stars. I saw Orion and the Big Dipper tonight.

I then heard snoring and went to go follow the sound. I then heard it and saw that it was coming from Boruto's tent. I then slowly peeked. I saw him snoring and he was smiling!

"I wonder what he's dreaming about. He looks kinda cute" I thought and blushed a little.

Suddenly he wrapped both his arms around me and we were cuddling! I was blushing like mad now. I tried to escape his grip but he wouldn't budge. I didn't want to wake him either so I decided to just stay there. It actually felt kind of good though. "Err....Sarada....." Boruto said still in his sleep. I was now blushing again.
