Tobias
There is an entryway that leads to the
Underground from above.
I dont want to enter there so I drive slowly. Hoping to by pass them.
I stop, and lean my head against the
Window. Its seems so clichè,
But I dont care.
I feel so empty.
I dont understand how I should feel.
I try to make the thought escape but It doesnt,
I begin to sob.
Soft tears flow slowly onto my cheeks.
Cold and salty.
My fingers find them,
And cuffs a black pit around my eyes.
The cars engine purrs.
The sky looks grey,
And rain trickles down my window.
I open the door,
And walk.
My tears collide with the rain,
Lost into each druplet.
The chasm mist flashes into my mind.
The spray onto my legs,
Her soft lips,
Strong fingers.
Eager to press closer,
Eager to feel.
Her smile was rare,
To see it was to see a hummingbird,
You dont see them often.
But she bright,
And just so inevitable.
I know,
I know she saved Caleb.
I know it was from necessity.
But why leave me here, alone?
Why then?
I need answers.
I need them now.
