Chapter 8

Katie's POV

He grabbed my hand.

"Austin please let go." I said.

"We haven't talked yet." He said.

"It's only been a day, Now please let go." I begged.

"I can't go a day without talking to the girl I'm in love with. Austin said with a worried look on his face.

Did I hear right or did he just say he's In love with me. He actually said he's in love with me.

"Austin I'm not up for your games right now." I told him.

Austin let go of my hand & I walked away. I looked back & he kept looking at me. I just walked off to the elevator with to much things on my mind.

Jenny, my bestfriend was going to come over later so I at least can get my my mind off of things.

It was about 2:00 when I heard a knock on the door. I went to open the door because I was so excited Jenny was coming! When I open the door not do I only see my best friend, I also see my ex Ryan. Don't get me wrong, after we broke up we agreed to stay friends.

"Hey guys !" I said & hugged both of them.

We were planning on going to the beach Later so they were both all dressed up for the beach except me. They both stayed down stairs while I went upstairs to change. I was wearing a black bandeau bikini that I just bought & I fell in love with at the store. So I just had to get it. I put some shorts on & a crop top, so I was good to go.

We got in Ryan's convertible mustang & we drove off to south beach.
While Ryan was driving, I told jenny everything that happened between me & Austin. & all that she could say was "How could you reject a heartthrob singer ? Especially one as hot as Austin ?" & that seriously wasn't helping me at all.

"If you don't want Austin, hook me up with him because ya know I'm single" she smirked.

That remark kinda pissed me off. From all that's happened with Austin can't she tell I'm getting feelings for him ?

We arrived at the beach & I laid my towel down on the floor & started tanning. Ryan put his towel extra close to mine.

"Ryan do you mind ?" I asked him.

"No thanks I'm great here. The sun's shining perfectly.

I just ignored him.
I sensed someone getting closer to me & started touching my thigh.
I look up & I see that it's Ryan.

"Ryan what in the world are you doing ? "

When Ryan touched my thigh it kind of reminded me of when we were dating. We would always be touchy & do stuff. Once we even went that far but we didn't get to do it because I didn't feel right giving my first time to him.

He still had his hand on my thigh & it pissed me off. I was just about to tell him something Again before someone called my name.

"Kaite."

It was Austin. His eyes looked like diamonds, while the sun was shining on him. I took Ryan's hand of my thigh & got up not taking my eyes away from Austin. I noticed that he even had a guitar in his hand. He was with joe & mike his bodyguards.

"Austin what are you doing here ?" I asked him.

" I came to sing you something since you don't want to talk to me."

"What do you mean sing me something ?"

Austin pulled out a white stool & told me to sit on it. So I did. I just noticed there was a bunch of screaming fans & yellow tape for the fans not to pass & the police everywhere.

Out of no where Austin starts singing. I just smile because he has such a beautiful voice.

"ain't no other shawty I've heard of you baby I put a million on that that that that that I took my world & gave you half of it baby I pray you never give it back back back back back I love your style, love your smile, I love your eyes they look like diamonds to me so you can have it all, all of it baby in your favorite store blowing stacks stacks stacks because I know that all my dreams are coming true yeah & I know I'll never feel the way I feel with anyone but u yeah u with u baby u yah u "
He sang.

While he kept singing he gave me a rose & a teddy bear & a necklace.
There may have been like 50 girls screaming but it felt like if it
was just us two together alone.

He kept on putting his face extra close to mine. He grabbed my hand, stood me up & twirled me around like if we were dancing. Are eyes were so focused on each other, that it seemed like if our eyes were glued together.

When the song ended,

Austin looked straight into my eyes and smiled. & I obviously smiled back.

He started talking but all I could do was stare at his beautiful face. I just noticed how sweet he is & what he did for me.

"Katie will you be my girlfriend ?"
Austin asked me.

I just noticed my feelings for him. I was willing to forget about the past & focus on the present.

"Yes." I smiled.

We both leaned in & sparks flew.
