A weakling huh?

Early in Konoha

After days of walking nonstop finally, they've reached Konoha. Seeing the gates they all smiled, all except Midori. Akihiko slightly pulls Midori closer to comfort her if the guards or anyone else try to hurt her. Kana, clearly upset at the fact that she's been wearing the same clothing since someone decided that they wouldn't stop to change because they have to be there on time.

Walking up to the guards who are surprisingly wide awake Kuroishi looks down at them, which comes off as a glare to the guards.

"State your name and business." the one with a bandage across his face says, a little shaken by the man.

"Kuroishi Moto, chunin exams." he states. The guards look at each other then the man mysteriously.

"Where is your group?" the one who looks like a lazy but chill man asks. Kuroishi turns only to see them under the shade of a tree relaxing. Kuroishi sighs.

"Team! Come and introduce yourselves!" he shouts. They lazily walk to the desk, Akihiko still having her closer to him than normal, Kana still upset at her sensei.

"My name is Kana, that's all you need to know." she states, she doesn't really like the leaf, she despised it because of what they did to Midori.

"The name is Akihiko Yamahata." he tells them, his eyes focused on Midori.

Midori closes her book and stares at them, getting a closer look at the chunins. "Midori Tuchimaru." the two guards jump from their seats.

"Jiraiya Jr.!" they shout in disbelief. Midori nods as she is suddenly tackled in a hug, the guards also squeezing Akihiko in the process. They smile, bright as ever before. Happy that the quiet, kind, girl they've known has returned.

"What's with the Jiraiya Jr. Thing? Are you related to the Sannin?" Kana asks. Midori shakes her head and sighs.

They walk through the gates, everyone in the village stops whatever they're doing as they look at team Kuro. People gossiping and moving away from the group.

"What in the hell do you think you're doing here, trader." The leader of the Tuchimaru clan, Midori's oldest sister, Nanami asks, her voice declaring authority just like their mother. The rest of the siblings following behind her as many seem to glare down at their youngest sister.

"We're here for the chunin exams." Kuroishi answers, knowing Midori will just ignore them. Nanami glares at Kuroishi, giving him a look of disgust.

"I wasn't speaking to you mist SHINOBI, I was speaking to the trader of my clan." Nanami reverts her eyes down to her sister, seeing her still in her book. History seems to almost repeat itself as Nanami grabs the book only to be pinned down by Midori seconds later. Nanami skillfully escapes Midori's hold and send a kick towards Midori who dodges and attempts to kick Nanami, who also dodges.

"You're still as useless and weak as always Midori, you may have killed the late leader of our clan but I'm not her." Nanami states. Midori just sends a dark chuckle.

"Last time I checked you became as skilled as her and as abusive towards me as she was. You resemble her alot ya know, she would be proud of you." Midori them returned to her group, leaving her siblings in shock. Akihiko pulls her into a tight hug while glaring at the clan.

"Come on Midori, we have to inform the homage of our arrival." Kana says, rubbing her teammate's back. Midori doesn't reply as she is soon carried by Akihiko, she didn't want to move any farther into Konoha than she already was, the memories being a bit painful.

They arrive into the third's office. Two Jonins being their escorts, they soon leave when the Hokage dismissed them, leaving the team with the hokage.

"Its nice to see you again Midori." he warmly smiles at the young girl who is still being carried by Akihiko and reading her book in the process.

"Its nice to see you're still alive." she says, smiling at him and going back to her book.

"I see you've found a nice team, and love." he chuckles as he sees the blond boy smile widely and places Midori down on her feet as he salutes.

"I am Akihiko Yamahata, the future husband of Midori Tuchimaru, and I thank you for seeing my undying love for her!" he shouts. Kana and Kuroishi facepalming while Midori continues reading her book.

"I wish you all luck on your love life. So, you all are here for the chunin exams." Kuroishi nods and shows the third their forms. The third nods and gives them their passes and a hotel room for three.

"Uh, Lord hokage there is four of us, you ordered room for three." Kana says as she looks at the paper. The hokage chuckles and smiles brightly.

"Well the one bed is for Akihiko and Midori of course." once he said that Kana screamed and Kuroishi looks at the hokage in horror, Akihiko repeatedly thanking the hokage claiming that the hokage understands the love Akihiko and Midori share, Midori doesn't pay it any attention as she continues reading.

After seeing the hokage they all decide to put their things in the hotel and change into their regular clothing, since the exams are only days away now.

"Come on guys lets try the sushi bar here! I wanna see if its better than in the mist." Kana suggests. They all agree and begin to walk through the village, ignoring the strange looks from the civilians.

"Kana!" the team turns to see team Kakashi and wave, Kana smiles briother.

"Hey Sakura!" she shouts and the two teams walk towards each other.

"You guys here for the chunin exams huh?" Kakashi asks Kuroishi. He nods and sit back as they watch their team talk to each other.

"Midori!" Naruto hugged Midori but Akihiko kicks Naruto's side sending him flying to a gate. Akihiko grabs Midori protectively.

"What have I told you about touching my Midori-chan!" he shouts, still not that trusting towards Naruto. Naruto groans in pain, standing up he stomps towards Akihiko and they break into a fight, again.

"You all are such losers." Sasuke comments. Kana looks at him, then glares.

"Who are you to call us losers when we helped you all on a mission." she asks with her hands on her hips. Midori looks up suddenly interested in the conversation, Akihiko hold Naruto back as he wants to listen to his answer.

"Well we didn't need your help, we would've been fine." he says. Kana laughs as she looks at her already manicure nails.

"Who do yay think is the one why made Gato fire that cow man? Who do you think defeated all those thugs, we could've let him live since all we wanted was to negotiate with him but we allowed that man to murder Gato, we would've gotten our sushi anyway." Kana explains. Team Kakashi stares at team Kuro.

"You went on a mission for sushi?!" they all shout.

Hours passed and luckily they've made it through the day without seeing any other Tuchimarus. They did however run into many good people, like Iruka, some jonins and chunins, even genin from her of class. To say they were shocked was an understatement.  The jonins who knew her very well knew she was an innocent child who has a nerve that if it is hit will turn her into a monster, those were the understanding jonins and chunins but with many genins from clans they were told to never be by her and they even compared her to Itachi Uchiha, saying that she only wanted to destroy the clan to prove her strength.

She got alot of dirty looks and happy looks, but her team was always there by her side during a walk around Konoha and a trip to the sushi bar.

Once they went back to the hotel they were happy, but the next day isn't going to be an easy one.
