Midori grew her hair out, she quickly lost her weight and is now working as a jonin in the hidden mist, she's now 28. She doesn't usually wear shorts unless the mission involves her and her team going to Sunagakure or Konoha, she usually wears a crop top with fishnet under it and has gotten an attitude similar to her late oldest sister but not as cold as her, Midori has gotten calm and still continues writing her books. She's made more than enough money to buy a mansion because of the books being sold in every village.

This handsome man is Akihiko, he grew some of his hair out and is a househusband, he retired after the war and has settled with Midori in the same mansion where they are raising their child, he continues making weapons and has learned how to cook, he usually wears modern clothing but at home he just wears sweatpants and an undershirt. He's 29.

This young lady is their daughter, Midoko. She's 12 and a weapon (literally) due to the clan's retired leader wanting to make sure his great grandchild wasn't going to be a failure. Midoko attends the updated ninja academy in the mist where she has three friends, although she's a weapon she's more like her father at that age but loves to read her mother's books, her intelligence is from her mom including her leadership.
She has never been to Konoha before but wishes to, claiming that she wants to see her cousins and aunts/uncles. Both parents have promised to do so when Midori has time, being stuck in her room writing books and doing missions has been quite a hassle for her.
As a family, Midoko is a promising child and is a wonderful daughter, always choosing to understand things before seeking an excuse to why she should or shouldn't do things, she's been in trouble before and of course have had punishments but it was usually about going to Konoha, Midori sometimes had to lightly mark Midoko so she wouldn't leave the village. Akihiko has scolded Midoko about leaving the village and about running off, Hidden Mist isn't exactly as nice as other villages, there are still missing nin who never think twice about killing someone. They also continue going to the sushi bar together.
As parents, it shocked Midori and Akihiko and they had an argument with the retired clan leader but has settled their ways and have chosen to have Midoko trained by the academy, Midori, and the clan members in the Yamahata clan.
As a daughter, she's very popular in her class not because of her clan and what she is, but because of her mother. Her mother is praised as a hero in the hidden Mist and being the greatest leader in the mist, her mother was even asked to become the Mizukage but refused saying that there should be someone who is better than her and more fitted for such a job.
So this is all about them, I'll probably make another chapter about their lifestyle and if you guys want I can make one for Midoko.
