Waking up everything seemed like it would be a normal day, until Barry got a call. We had then rushed to STAR labs wanting to know what was happening. Once we walked in through the doors and into the cortex we saw a worried looking Jesse.
"Jesse" I say making her turn around to us
She was quickly at our side as I hugged her then she began to walk around the room explaining what had happened.
"It's been two weeks since he disappeared I mean no ones seen or heard from him since" she quickly says
"Slow down, just start from the beginning. Why did your dad go to Gorilla city?" Barry asks
"Wait, can we slow down even further, what is gorilla city?" Joe asks
"Okay so there are highly intelligent evolved gorillas in earth 2 and they all live in a city deep in the heart of Africa." Jesse says
"We sent grod there when he went after Caitlin here" Cisco says
"Grod is there? Why on earth or any earth would your father want to go there?" Joe asks
"I mean we received a mathematical cryptogram at our STAR labs. It was highly complex it took us a week to decode it but my dad and I did" Jesse says
"What did it say?" Iris and I ask
"It was an invitation. From the gorillas to my dad" Jesse says
"Why Harry?" Barry asks
"They wanted to meet him? So he mounted an expedition with 10 other people and they went into the jungle but they failed multiple check-ins and the search party went in after them but all they found were the bodies. All of them were beaten to death. But, no one has seen my dad. I mean is he-" Jesse says looking as she was trying to hold her tears in
"No" Barry quickly cuts her off "no he's alive they went to a lot of trouble to get him there. They need him for something. We're going to figure out what that is"
"Your dad is a very intelligent guy he'll be okay" I add in
Just then HR walked into the cortex also making all of us turn to look at him.
"Hey guys, I've been looking all over for you. Are we going for coffee or what?" He says smiling
Jesse quickly ran to his side as she hugged him, calling him dad. All of our eyes widen not knowing how to respond.
"Uh" I begin
"Yes, that's how you say good morning people with hugs" he says
"Jesse, that's not who you think it is. This is HR you met him briefly before you left last time" Caitlin was the one to say
I looked at Barry who looked like he was deep in thought.
"What's on your mind?" I ask from the other side of the desk separating us
