[NOT SO VIOLENT | CHAPTER 15] | Mar 14, 2014

*Austin's POV*

I don't understand why, but I keep the thought of what Doctor Bruce had called everyone about.

"I'm sorry to inform you, but Alan has just passed away."

The thought makes me so angry. If he were fine before that, why would he be dead now? It doesn't make any fucking sense!

"Austin, chill!" I hear Shayley yell. Oh, I guess I must've punched a wall again.

"How can I chill?!" I scream. "The love of my life is dead!" Shayley shakes his head.

"No, he isn't," he says calmly.

"What do you mean he is isn't?" I seeth. If that doctor is lying to me, I will rip his head off with no remorse.

"Alan has his phone and he's been FaceTiming Phil! You wouldn't answer your goddamn phone," he mutters.

"I don't have my phone," I whisper, my anger dropping quickly. "I threw it off of here because I thought I wouldn't need it again."

"He wants to talk to you," Shayley responds softly and leaves the balcony. I swear, I might as well live on here. I spent too much time here, I suppose.

After about five minutes of yelling to myself of how I need to be healthier and not stand outside all day doing absolutely nothing, I trudge back into the apartment, and into the kitchen. My stomach grumbles, but I'm not hungry. My throat is dry, but I'm not thirsty. Without Alan, I don't feel alive. I don't feel like me. I feel like a zombie; a dead walker. He completes me, and I can't believe it's taken so long for me to realize that! Why am I so.. So stupid? So ignorant? I might as well not be here, it's not like I complete Alan.

"Aust, you okay, bud?" Phil asks.

"I'm fine," I mutter. No, I'm not okay.

"You don't seem fine," he says. No shit, Sherlock.

"I'm fine," I repeat through gritted teeth. Only then, I realize that I am in a shit mood.

"Did Shay te-"

"Yes, now either let me talk to my fucking love or go the fuck away," I snap. Phil looks taken aback. I sigh.

"I'm sorry, Phil, I just.. I miss him," I fuss. He nods.

"We all do. I still don't believe his doctor told everyone that he's dead. They won't let him out, he's been stuck in the morgue the past two weeks. We need a rescue mission," he suggests. I nod in agreement.

"Yeah," I mumble.

"C'mon then, the guys have already got a plan," he perks up. I get up and follow him out to the living room.

I'm greeted with the sight of the guys FaceTiming Alan, and I nearly faint at the sight. My eyes widen and I cover my mouth that lay gaped open in astonishment.

"Aus?" the flaming haired boy on Phil's phone says. I silently gasp, and try to speak, but there is no way I'm able to. There is literally too much happening and my brain isn't registering these things as fast as it needs to.

"A-Al" I stutter, unable to say his name. Shayley comes over and pats my back, trying to help calm me. It doesn't do any harm, but it certainly doesn't help either.

"It's okay, Aus, please, just breathe. Breathe for me," Alan says worridly. I release a breathe I didn't realize I was holding and try to breathe regularly. I don't need to end up in a hospital. Especially Alan's current hospital, but I don't have Doctor Bruce. It's a good thing, but if there's one bad doctor there, who knows how many in general there are.

"I-I.. You're alive!" I screech. Alan chuckles.

"I am. I don't know what Doctor Bruce told you, but he's wrong. Clearly, I am not dead," he says.

"What in the cherry pie was this guy thinking?" I ask.

"No clue, Aus," he frowns. "I wish I knew."

"We need to make a plan to get you out, Al," Tino chimes in. I nod.

"Does anyone have ideas?" Phil asks.

"Kill Bruce, distract authority, haul Alan out," Tino says.

"No man, that's brutual," I reply.

"Why shouldn't we kill Bruce? He's holding the ginger hostage!" Shayley objects.

"I say we should kidnap Bruce and go with the rest of Tino's plan," Phil shares.

"What would we do with the dude?" Alan asks.

"Simple. We threaten him, he'll tell us what he's hiding, and we torture him in the process to make sure he understands he shouldn't mess with us, nor do what he's done to any other patient he may or may not have in the future," Phil explains.

"I like that idea," I agree.

"So let's go with that?" Shayley asks.

"Sure," Tino replies, nodding.

"Well, then, we've got a plan," Alan says estatically. I couldn't blame him, it must suck being in the morgue. Or just stuck in the hospital for two and a half months. I just can't wait until we can get him out.
