Kili stepped in front of Sara immediately to shield her shirtless state. "Avert your eyes lads!" came a shout from the man in front of her. Which was very sweet that he was looking out fro her dignity like that.
Kili turned around and they both blushed, he grabbed her shirt and his cloak and tossed it to her. She quickly slipped both of these on. "Well you too have gotten on well." Commented Fili.
"Oi! Knock it off. Anywho, how long have you been eaves dropping on us?" Saraen asked.
"I haven't been dropping no eaves!" came an indignant cry from Nori. "Just, listening to what you were sayin'"
"That would be eaves dropping Nori." she reminded. He opened his mouth to protest but then suddenly there was a rustle in the bushes and out burst a... sled of rabbits? Carrying to one and only Radagast the brown! Now if anyone else would ever try to drive a sled of rabbits and not look out of the ordinary, they would fail miserably. But Radagast was that kind of person who could get away with it. "Theives! Fire! Murder!" he screamed as he broke the hedge line. While the company drew their weapons Gandalf and Saraen burst into laughter.
"Radagast!" they welcomed in unison, causing them both to smile again.
Radagast began to explain to Gandalf about the terrible things happening in the forest, about the spiders and the darkness that was spreading. But the ranger payed little attention to that as she flashed over to where her two favorite rabbits were. "Ragnar, Ivar! My beautiful boys." they nuzzled into her hand and she scratched them both behind their ears and hummed as they leaned into her hands.
"Boys." She softly called to Fee and Kee, they too darted over to her and Kili looked in adoration at the way she was with the Rhosgobels.
"Would you like to touch them?" she asked the brothers.
"Are you sure its alright with Radagast?" pressed Fili
"Oh of course, anyways that wouldn't matter! These are my boys. I raised them and named them so its really up to me." she replied with a smile. She took each one of their hands in her own and placed them in front of the rabbits.
"Now Fee this is my boy Ragnar." she moved his hand to the rabbit to her right, "and Kili this is my dear Ivar." she smiled at Kili as she moved his hand to touch the rabbits fur. "Why did you pick these names?" asked Kili cautiously as to not to be taken the wrong way. Actually he loved the names that she had chosen, they were dwarvish.
"Well since the life of a ranger doesn't really allow for children, I raise my animals like my children, and name them accordingly. Magnus, Ragnar and Ivar are what I would name my sons, should my fate change. I care for them, sing to them, teach them and love them. It may seem weird, but this is the closest thing I will probably come to raising a child."
Immediately the Fili soothed her worries, and Kili even said that "I actually want to name my sons Ragnar and Ivar." This made a huge smile appear on the rangers face and she gave him a huge hug and they both blushed unknowingly into the others shoulder.
When they released from the hug Fili took his leave with a grin and returned to the group. Saraen scooped up Ivar and placed him in to the dwarves arms and then started to cradle Ragnar to her chest and she began to hum a tune. Ragnar chattered in her arms and she giggled and kissed him on the forehead.
After a few minutes the rabbits began to wiggle and so Kili and Sara put their bunnies down.
Saraen leaned on the palms of her calloused hands and watched them go.
They both tuned into what Radagast and Gandalf were saying, when Radagast volunteered to draw off the orcs Saraen bolted up and said "I will go too. You cant fight orcs by yourself melonin."
