Chapter Six

Gerard's P.O.V:

I woke up just as the sun started to rise, I had a really awesome view from my bedroom window, which pretty much took up all the walls. My room's walls were glass, just that. But I was soon distracted by a far prettier view.

The little cup was now the one snuggling into me, having my arm in a strong hold, too strong if I may add, but I didn't remove it. It'd be a shame to disturb that heartwarming view.

Delusional scum! My brain suddenly chided, I need to cut myself some slack I swear. I knew that I was getting attached and it wasn't getting me far, but I couldn't help but admire his peaceful features as he snored softly into my arm.

"You're going to die alone. I'll make sure of that." His voice rang through my head and I flinched at the thought, he didn't need to make sure of anything, I was doing a fine job all by myself.

"You're such an Edward I swear." Frank's raspy sexy- sleepy, I meant sleepy, voice interrupted my thoughts.

"Hey, if I'm an Edward that only means you're a Bella." I insulted defensively face glowing red with embarrassment, he cringed.

"Yep, never mind I said anything." He shuddered at the thought.

It was a while before anyone moved or said anything, we just sat there enjoying the sun rise, that's before it hit me.

"My ring!" I screamed jumping up from the bed startling Frank. I ran into the bathroom and retrieved the small ring I forgot to put back on after I showered. I let an unnecessary breath and walked back out, just in time also as I see, the sun rays beamed lighting up the whole room.

"What the fuck was that all about?" Frank exclaimed still stunned and slightly annoyed.

"We were gonna go up in flames right on the spot, that's what!" I said my nerves still a wreck.

"What? Why? What did you do in there that stopped us going up in flames?" he questioned confused by the whole thing. I lifted up my middle finger at him "What the...? What did I do now?" he felt obviously offended.

"The ring, dipshit." I retorted, he still looked confused af. "It's my equivalent of sunscreen." I added, still nothing. "Hello? The sun, the walls that are practically windows, every Goddamn myth out there implying that vampires and sun don't hold hands and have picnics?" seriously, what did they teach them in werewolf school? It downed on him after that. "Honestly, we need to get you a supernatural manual book." I shook my head displeased, which earned me another pillow on the face.

"Not my fault it slipped my mind since you're sleeping in an overly exposed bedroom, I thought that didn't apply to you or something. Didn't realize you were stupid enough to leave your day ring or whatever lying around!" he defended, I just rolled my eyes at him. I took out something else to change into and went into the bathroom to get dressed.

I chose a pair of black skinny jeans, ones that weren't worn out from carrying dead werewolf bodies and staying in hotel 'lupus cellarium', and a matching short sleeved black shirt, add combat boots, a leather jacket, and an eyeliner and I was set to go. I walked out to be greeted with a whistle and cat call, from an ex-werewolf, really, ironic.

"Where are you going all dressed up and fine looking." He was still lying on the bed, I blushed furiously.

"I'm going to get breakfast." I said through gritted teeth, he raised an eyebrow. "Blood bank down the street." I made myself clearer.

"Oh, that kind of breakfast." He acknowledged grimly. I took my keys and phone, which was dead-er than my will to live, but I took it nonetheless.

Quite honestly I preferred fresh food but I couldn't go hunting with Frank just yet, he needed to get a grip and adjust first. I stressed on no room service when I went out, I don't want him to hurt someone. I don't think he'd be able to cope with the self loathing that came after. I shuddered at the dark memories but gained focus again as I broke into the bank's blood storage.
