Gerard's P.O.V:
I don't recall ever being this happy anytime after the 1800s, and I was born 1830.
Everything was just perfect, too perfect if you ask me, but I didn't ponder on the thought much. I can't afford to over think anything right now, I was too happy to care.
"Gerard..." Frank spoke somewhat coyly interrupting my thoughts.
"Yeah, Frankie? Is there something wrong?" I asked concerned.
"No, no. It's just that we haven't fed for a while, I was wondering if there was a possibility of a blood bank being close or something... " He trailed off awkwardly, shit. My heart sank as I remembered. He hadn't fed in a whole day, by normal vampire standards that wasn't very bad, I could go for weeks without feeding and I'd be just fine, but him on the other hand...
"I'm afraid there isn't any." We were on a highway, there's surely no blood banks on highways. "But I think I might have an idea..." I spoke as one began to take form in my head. I pulled into a gas station soon after and turned to Frank.
"Okay, we'll try something new." I tried to cover my nerves with a confident smile. "You're definitely not ready yet to feed straight from a human, but we could try second-hand feeding." I spoke my idea, he still didn't seem to follow up.
"I haven't tried this before but I've heard of it." I started to explain. "The idea is, that once I've fed on a human their blood runs through my body, and by that you could get that human blood, just not from the human directly. It means you'll be feeding on me." I finished. He looked like he'd just seen a ghost, I couldn't blame him, I was just as freaked out by the thought.
"N-no! No way in hell, nope nopety nope." He shook his head firmly crossing his arms over his chest.
"Frank, I know it sounds scary but you're gonna have to learn to feed on anything other than blood bags and this is a good chance to try that. Feeding on me won't be as bad as feeding on an actual person." I held his hand trying to channel some reassurance into him, he still looked reluctant.
"But what if I hurt you?" he said fearfully.
"I trust you enough." I smiled encouragingly, I gave his hand one final squeeze before I stepped out of the car.
I scanned my surroundings, there were only about three people here, two people were refilling gas and one guy behind the counter in the shop. We know who's the unlucky bastard now. I cut straight to the chase and marched into the shop.
"Hi, I'm Gerard, nice to meet you." I greeted grabbing the guy's head "You won't remember anything that happened in the past and the next five minutes." As soon as I finished my sentence I drove my teeth in the poor dude's neck and sucked the life out of him, well not really. I just sucked enough for him to feel light headed but not kill him. I broke the contact with his neck wiping my mouth with the back of my hand. "Pleasure doing business with you." I smiled sweetly and walked back out.
"Alright, let's get this done." I said getting back in the car before my courage flattered.
"Are you sure about this?" he frowned at me worriedly.
I replied by a fierce kiss and used my fist that was tangled in his hair to guide his head down to my neck, he kept kissing my neck for a while but then I felt a prick implying that his fangs were out and he started feeding on my blood, the blood I stole from that man inside the shop.
Now I'd say this was highkey turning on if it weren't for the awful memory flood. I remembered how he fed on me mercilessly, not even giving two shits when I was crying and screaming for him to stop until my eye sight blurred.
