Santos's POV
I can tell that Illi is getting tired and doesn't like being here. She's not the best when it comes to social gatherings like she said. My thumb makes circles on her hand as I hold it. She looks at me with a small smile. I can see the faint bruise looking hickey just below her ear since she has her hair up now.
"Wanna go?" I ask her. She gestures to her ear, letting me know she can't hear me. I lean into her. "Do you wanna leave?" I ask again. She looks around.
"We don't have to if you want stay," she says loud enough that I can hear. I stand, pulling her up with me as well. We walk over to Venus and her boyfriend Luke.
"We're gonna leave. Make sure Leslie and Marcus don't...you know," I say. Venus nods, still swaying to the music. We stop by my sister on the way out. "Don't do anything inappropriate with anyone. For the love of God, please don't." She rolls her eyes and pushes Illi and I out the door.
I hold Illi close to me as we wall down the street. It's cold, but not too cold. She holds onto my arm as we walk. I lean down and kiss her the top her head.
Eventually we reach her house and I open the door for her. Inside her parents are sitting on the sofa watching Dancing With The Stars. I can remember that watching that show with my mom when I was little. They look over at us.
"I wanted to leave," Illi says. They look at me.
"I didn't want her walking alone at night," I say. Her dad eyes me suspiciously. Does he really think I'd go at it with her when her parents are home. Suddenly, I wish he hasn't heard some of the conversations I've had with Marcus.
"Dinner is the fridge," he says. Illi and I walk to the kitchen. She first takes out the medicine and takes it before getting out food.
"Why do you have to take those? I mean, I know what their for, but I was wondering why," I say. She looks at the bread for a second, then at me.
"My mom always wanted to keep me skinny, even though I already was, she wanted me skinner. She fed me very little against my dads knowledge. Now my bodies not used to eating," she explains.
My fists clench and unclench on the counter. She rests her hand on mine. "I'm fine," she tells me. She sounds like its the truth, but I have a sister and I know that I'm fine doesn't always mean that their fine.

I manage to sneak up to her room when Illi does. She how's over to the window and opens it, looking out. "What's up with you and windows?" I ask. She chuckles.
"I don't know. I just Luke the views they give," she replies. She sits down on her bed and takes her shoes off. I pace back forth. "Your sister is fine with Marcus. I'm positive he would never go against your wishes."
I roll my eyes. "And I'm pretty sure he never thought I'd go against his wishes either," I say. She cocks a brow. "You. I'm not supposed to be with you."
She lay's down, looking up at me. I sit down in the edge so I don't make her uncomfortable. "You can lay next to me," she says, reading my mind. I lay down awkwardly.
She grabs my arm and puts it over her waist as she turns on her side to rest her head on my chest. I look down at her with a grin. After being a dick for so long, I've got her as mine. And I'm hers.
I place my hand under her shirt and run it up and down her smooth back. She sighs, her body relaxing against my touch. "Thank you," I say. She looks up at her.
"For what?" I blush.
"For giving me a chance and trusting me with your life story. I know I've been a terrible person to you, but I'm going to change thatAN: This was his loving/softer side, requested by @firecrackergirl.
