The small toddler waddled around her parents bedroom with a small ball on the tip of her fingers. Beyoncé's curly hair fell into her eyes as she looked down at the object so she lifted her small hand to push the hair out of the way, in doing so she dropped the ball and it rolled under her parents bed. "oh" The small voice exclaimed. She looked around, wearing nothing but her diaper, and shoved her fingers in her mouth knowing that she couldn't get to the ball and was close to crying when Tina scooped her up and placed the child on her hip.

"What's going on here? you're supposed to be in the bath, Little fire ball" Tina gave Beyoncé a few kisses all over her face causing the child to giggle softly but lean over so that her body was pointed toward the bed. "No No you're not going to sleep, you're dirty." Tina tried to take the child away from the bed but she started screaming. Tina knew that nothing good would come of Beyoncé's cries so she began to bounce the baby on her hip. "Please not today, I'm tired and I can't ask your daddy to keep relaying the carpet." But it was no use, soon enough the carpet was pulling the from the corners and Tina desperately bounced Beyoncé. "No! Bad Beyoncé, stop it now!" But Tina's yelling only made it worse and the walls began to peel. Tina finally put the child down on the bed and looked at it with stern features. "You will be a spoiled little girl if you continue like this." Beyoncé wasn't really paying attention. Instead she climbed down from the bed and Tina watched as the entire bed lifted from the ground just high enough so that the toddler could freely walk beneath it and pick up the ball she had dropped.

"Mama!" The baby yelled as it showed Tina the small ball. Tina sighed and shook her head slowly,

"All of that for a silly little ball?" Tina asked her, Beyoncé smiled gently with a head nod.

"No bed's ball! My Ball!" Tina watched as the girl walk away fiddling with the ball in her hands in the direction of the bath room.

When you've been lied to for years true honest information feels liberating. There was so much that both Beyoncé and Marley had wanted to know, now those pieces of information were being uncovered in a way they had never imagined would happen. It was especially strange to think that in less than a few months Beyoncé had gone from no family at all to what she had now: Her sister, her 'grandmother', her child and her Shawn. Then there was Olly. It pained her heart to have to say goodbye to him but she knew it was the only way to really protect him. She had thought about keeping him the way she would keep her baby but it would be too hard to explain. Scarlet had said they needed to seem as normal as possible so what would these two black people be doing with this little white boy? They were too young to adopt him and if he were her adoptive brother the government would have taken him instead of letting him live with her because of their financial situation. It was a recipe for disaster to keep him so she did what she thought was best.

They all stood outside the diner with Scarlet talking to Marley and Shawn about something not so intense, it might have been a show on TV or an artist but Beyoncé couldn't be sure. She was far too busy feeling free to really pay any attention. She placed her hand on Olly's shoulder and looked around. There were a few cars parked, a few people walking about and a few stores with their doors wide open. She had never felt normal before but things were going to be different now. She grinned to herself and looked around with a happy smile, there were no helicopters, no soldiers, no one there to chase after them because they had slipped away. She just felt so free! She closed her eyes and tried to listen to all the people she could hear, she wanted to hear birds and wind and cars. In listening to the people she opened her mind but it hurt. Never had it hurt to hear anybodies thoughts before but this hurt so bad. She hadn't meant to hear thoughts but they rushed in so quickly. She could hear everyone. All the people on the streets, all the people in the stores, some of them were yelling and others were whispering but as they all pilled together in her mind they were all painful. She reach her hand up to the side of her head,
