Thirty Nine

EUNHA POVS

"Sowon unnie?" I blurt out.

The long legged redhead beauty in front of me is no other than Sowon. Yerin and me are best friends with her but what is she doing in here? This is Jinhyun's company.

"Yerin is going to be upset." She mumbled under her breath but its loud enough for me to hear because the office is really quiet.
"Why? Can you explain these to me?" I ask, feeling confused right now.

"I can't. I'm not in the position to tell you this. But since you're here, do you want to drink something?" She offers.

"No. I need answers." As much as I want to drink right now, my thirst for answer is much bigger.

"I'll call Yerin." She says with a worried expression on her face.

YERIN POVS

"Where's your date?"

I've been sitting in the booth for what it feels like a thousand years and SinB's date isn't appearing.

"He says he has something to do so he will come late." She answers. I can't exactly tell her that her date might be lying about this whole thing to just make her look dumb.

"I'll wait for another thirty minutes, okay?" I sigh. I shouldn't have done this in the first place.

"Okay." She says.

Just as I end the call, I see a guy approach her. He's tall and quiet skinny for a guy like him. However, his posture is quiet good for a skinny person. But he's covered in jacket and a baseball cap. His leather jacket looks real though so he might be rich because leather jacket isn't cheap. Its lucky because I sit in a booth not far from her that I'm able to get this much detail.

I decided to play with my phone to not seem suspicious. SinB seems to get along well with her date, so I don't really need to worry. I frowned as 'Sowon' appears on my caller ID.

"Hello?" I answer.

"Yerin-ah." I alert myself. Her voice sounds different than usual.

"Unnie? What's wrong?" I ask, try to keep the panic hidden although my body language scream panic really well.

"Can you come to the office?" She asks, fear laced her tone.

"Why?" She knows how much I hate being in that office ever since I found out the truth.

"She knows about it." Those four words are enough to make me freeze.

"I'll be there." I end the call.

I know this day is coming. The day Eunha will find out the truth and everything will shatter on top of me. Its bound to happen though considering all the evil things I've done.

EUNHA POVS

I turn my head as soon as the door barged open, revealing Yerin. Wait, its not Yerin, its Jinhyun.

"Sorry to keep you waiting." She says with an emotionless tone, exactly like Jinhyun. However, her confidence is lacking today. She sit across me and take off her cap.

"What is it that you're hiding from me?" I ask.

YERIN POVS

There. I explain everything to her while trying to keep calm although it fail because my breathing is really rapid right now. I'm even sweating hard out of guilt.

"Jaehyun. That jerk."

I widen my eyes and glance at Sowon who has a surprised expression as well. Eunha isn't the type of person to curse, she's innocent.
