Yes I know, it sounds a bit cliche, but wait for someone to explain what "Rainbow Moon" is

It was midnight, where the Rainbow Moon would strike any second. Everyone was outside Troll Tree and sitting on blankets. Poppy wore a pink jacket, and saw Branch in a blue jacket and sitting in a blue blanket. Poppy grinned and sat beside him. "Hey Branch! Are you excited?!".

"Shush, but... yes. It only happens every 21 years." Branch said as Poppy smiled. They both smiled at each other, not even realizing how close they were. They slowly lean to each other, until someone kindly sat beside Branch in her own blanket. "Hi! Mind if I sit here?".

Branch and Poppy quickly backed away blushing as Branch turned around and saw innocent River. She smiled softly, until Poppy smiled. "Sure! I'm just gonna get some of Biggie's sandwiches!".

Poppy skipped to Biggie on the other end of Troll Tree. River noticed Branch watching her leave. As soon as Poppy was out of sight, River asked. "You really love her, don't you?".

"Well..." he said as River mumbled something he couldn't understand, and she hugged her knees and looked away. "I can already tell you do. It's amazing to find someone you love, especially someone who's deserving of your time...".

Branch stayed silent, then River cleared her throat and saw the ladybug on her shoulder squeaking. She brushed it off her shoulder again and scooted closer to Branch to have better communication. "So, what is the Rainbow Moon?".

"It's the moon where all the colors of the rainbow is there. It only happens every 21 years. It's fascinating.".

River nodded, then smiled. Suddenly, Poppy sat back next to Branch and handed River and Branch some sandwiches. "Guys! Guys! It's starting!".

Poppy said as they all looked up and the full moon started turning into colorful colors. They all 'wowed', but then River sighed and set the sandwich aside and turned her head to the side and saw Poppy leaning on Branch's shoulder. River smiled warmly, but saw the ladybug back on her shoulder and lie on her as it fell asleep. River smiled and patted the ladybug. Then as Branch was about to say something to River, she was already gone. He titled his head, wondering where has she gone? He sighed and saw Poppy blushing, and so did he. Poppy whispered to him. "It's beautiful...".

"It's not the only one that is..." he said as Poppy raised a brow and looked at him, but he quickly looked away and blushed. (A/N: I think we all know who's he referring to😏) Poppy smiled and put her arm around his waist, then he put his around hers and leaned on each other's heads. River, from the tree, smiled as she watched them, then looked at the ladybug that squeaked. "You see? I think they're perfect for each other. And I... have no chance with him... because he already loves someone who loves him, too...".

Then the ladybug squeaked again, then River had a small tear drop on her eye, then wiped it as she patted the ladybug's back. "Cmon, lets give them some privacy...".

Then River stood up and turned around and ready to fly off, but she paused and turned her head around and took one more glance at Branch with a sad expression, then she turned her head around again and flew up in the starry night sky with all the stars twinkling.

To be honest, I think some of you hate River or like her, but I promise, Poppy, Branch, and River will have a happy ending. Spoiler alert: Branch and Poppy will especially.
