Sophia
I walk around the corner, expecting to see the third floor stairs. Stupid elevator broke. I roll my eyes, my luck becoming worse everyday.
"Hello Sophia." I jump. A figure coming up behind me, the voice being filled with evil. I knew it was him.
I don't move, too petrified, my body frozen. I sense he comes closer, moving my hair to one side, his tough hands making me suck in a breathe.
"Did you really think you would get off that easy?" He whispers into my neck. "I'm here to finish you once and for all." A cloth covers my face, my screams being silenced, leaving me helpless, defenseless, and weak.
#
"Soph?!" I wake up, my eyes automatically opening the floodgates. My whole body shaking, I start to hyperventilate.
"What's wrong? Soph, it's me, Jay. Nobody is going to hurt you." He wraps his arm around me, more tears covering my tangled hair.
What was once suppose to be a fun, loving night with Jay, took a detour. One person can ruin it in a second. After McGarrett searched the building, he escorted me and Jay- an emotional mess- back to our room. Steve ordered security at all entrances of the hotel possible, after being unsuccessful in the manhunt for Carter, and not willing to take a chance.
"He.. he found me Jay. He is going to.. to hurt me." I don't move my head from his chest.
"Soph. I will not allow anyone to touch you. I won't. I'll start to stay every night if I need too. I promise Soph, nothing will happen to you." He continues to run his fingers through my hair, attempting to calm me.
"I don't feel safe anymore. What if he is watching us right now? I'd like it if you stayed with me, Jay." I take deep breathes, just wanting to go back to sleep.
"Soph. How many times do I have to tell you? Nothing will happen to you. I won't let that happen. I promise." His lips kiss the top of my head, wrapping his arms around me, caressing my back.
I sigh. "You're right. Everything will be fine." I snuggle into his arms even more, his warmth welcoming me.
"Get some sleep, babe." He repositions himself, allowing me to lay my head on his chest, one of my arms across his chest, as his are around me.
#
"Jay?" I stir in my sleep, feeling around for him.
My hand hits a hard surface, causing me to groan. "Right here, Soph." Jay yawns, pulling me closer to him.
"Just making sure you didn't leave." I hum, rolling back over to face him.
"I wouldn't leave you." He yawns, running his hands through my hair as usual. It makes me calm.
I laugh, sitting up, the blinding sun causing me to shield my eyes. "What time is it?" I lay back down, facing Jay's groggy blue eyes.
"It's about noon." He yawns once more, covering his mouth.
"Why didn't you wake me?" I ask, my thumb grazing his cheek.
"You're stressed out right now, Soph. I'm giving you all the rest you need." Jay smiles, grabbing my hand and kissing it softly.
I let out a small grin, sitting up. "Room service, then hit the pool?"
"Sounds perfect. Let me call McGarrett. If we leave the hotel he wants to be there, if anything happens." Jay sighs, reaching for his phone as I call room service.
"Hi, room service for room 338, please." I glance over to Jay, who is sitting in the recliner still on the phone. "Can we have two sweet teas, a chicken caesar salad with ranch, and a grilled cheese? Yes, that will be all, thank you."
