Sophia
"Good morning."
I open my eyes, yet again, to be in Jay's room. "Hey." I look around to see we are the only ones in the room. "Where is everyone?" I ask, motioning to the empty room.
"They went out to breakfast. They wanted to let you sleep."Jay hooks his arms around me, pulling me into a hug.
"They didn't have to do that, Jay. You at least could've gone with them." I begin to feel guilty.
"And miss out on quality time with you? Not a chance." He grins against my neck, his warm breathe on it.
"You really don't have to be here everyday with me, Jay. You should be able to hangout with Isaac and Jacob. Instead you are babysitting me."
"I really don't mind. You are more important than the both of them combined, baby." I turn over to face Jay, and let out a small laugh.
"There's my girl. See? Everything is going to get better. It already is." Jay sits up, and stretches, his six pack clearly noticeable throughout the tight blue cotton material. "So what do you want to do today? We will leave in an hour and not come back to the room until five. I want a day out with you."
"Shopping, maybe? I also want to go to the beach before competitions start tomorrow." I yawn, getting out of bed and walking over to my suitcase. I walk over to the bathroom door, with my clothes in hand and close the door. I put my dark blue hi-neck swimsuit on, with a white lace romper to go over it. I do my makeup, put powder and waterproof mascara on, only. When I walk out, Jay is sitting on the bed with the beach bag packed, and trunks on.
"You ready, Jay?"I ask, going over to him, to get his attention.
"Yes I'm- Soph! You look... hot in that romper." Jay smiles awkwardly.
We both walk over to the door, lock it behind us, and head towards the elevator. "Are you excited?" I ask Jay, looking out the glass windows of the elevator, eyeing the dining area, the strong aroma of biscuits and gravy consuming my taste buds.
"Are you joking? Yes, I'm more than excited. I get to spend the whole day with my favorite girl. How could it get better?" He grins, pulling me into a hug.
You could kiss me. That would make it a lot better.
As we get out of the Uber, we walk towards the outlet mall, hand in hand. The strong scent of coffee consuming both Jay and I. "Where do you want to go first?" Jay smiles, continuing to walk through the traffic.
"I think we both know where we should go first, Jay." I grin.
"Starbucks it is." He laughs, pulling me towards the coffee shop.
"What do you want, Soph?"
I look up at the menu, and back at the Bautista. "Raspberry Lemonade, please."
"Make that two." Jay pulls out his wallet, and hands over the money. I look at him in disagreement, but before I could argue, he looks at me. "My treat."
We make small talk, and continue to all the way until we arrive at H&M.
We walk in and I immediately start wondering, Jay trying to keep up. All the nude colors making me drool.
"Soph. Do you like this?" Jay yells in the section across from me.
I jog over there, and see he is holding up a grey sweatshirt that say, "chill" on it. I frantically nod my head. "I love it! To be honest, I have no idea what I'm even looking for." I let out a small laugh.
