Sophia

"Why are you upset, Sophia? You get to spend the whole night with Jay." Olivia continues to brush through my hair, the brush against my skin soothing me.

"I did terrible in my events today. I got third, fourth, fourth, and second. That's terrible." I look up, into the mirror, trying to keep myself together.

"You still rank third overall, Sophia. Don't think about any of that. Think about tonight. Jay. The after party." Olivia smirks, continuing to curl my hair.

"Nothing is going to happen here. We are waiting until marriage." I get that off my plate, knowing where the conversation was going.

"Good. But that doesn't mean you can have an intense makeout session."

"Funny, Olivia. I'm just happy that we don't have to keep the relationship a secret anymore." I pause, trying to find the right words. "I think we've only thought about being more than friends for like, six months."

Olivia throws her head back, letting out a laugh. "Sophia, you are hilarious. I've known you guys would eventually date for almost three years." Olivia finishes the last piece of hair, dropping it, a look of accomplishment plastered on her face. "And you, my beautiful best friend, are ready for date night."

I walk over to the mirror, my nude wedges complimenting my knee high royal blue dress. My neck covered with the high neck style of dress, the blue fabric and jewels, making me feel confident. The dress hugs me in all the right places, the dress defining every curve of my body perfectly. I turn to look at my hair, the low bun and strands of my dirty blonde locks framing my face flawlessly, along with my makeup. From the smokey eye to my nude lips, everything was flawless thanks to Olivia.

"Sophia, Jay is here." I walk out of the bathroom, and into the room, Jay sitting on the bed wearing his black tuxedo, and Olivia going back into the bathroom to finish up her makeup.

Our eyes widen at the same time. "Jay you look handsome tonight." He pulls me into a hug, his hands around my waist.

"Wish I could say the same about my date. You should meet her. Her name is Sophia Keller and is a smoking hot girl making me drool over her every move." He kisses me on the lips, a sigh slipping from the inside my lips.

"Think about it." I break the kiss, wrapping my arms around his neck. "After tonight the whole world will know we are together, then I can kiss you in public whenever I want."

"I like that idea. But you know what I like even more?" He smiles, lowering his face to mine, his mouth inches away from my ear.

"What?" I hum, absorbing myself in the moment.

"That I will have you all to myself after the party, no interruptions. I can kiss you all night with no interruptions. How does that sound?" He smirks, his eyes beaming at me.

"It sounds perfect. Kissing you all night makes me excited for this party to be over." I lay my head in his chest, never wanting to leave.

"Well, we better get going, Drew and Cole are carpooling with us." Jay takes my hand, and I snatch my nude clutch, closing the door behind us.

"After you, my lady." The cool night air invading my body makes me clasp onto Jay even more.

"Thank you, Jay." I climb into the car, Cole and Drew already in back, making small talk.

"Sophia, looking sexy today,as always." Cole laughs, winking at Jay.

"Very funny, Cole. But, she won't share anything because she is all mine."Jay slithers his hand around my waist, pulling me as close to him as my seatbelt will allow him to.
