Sophia
"Jay I'm nervous." I roll over next to him, his blue eyes filled with sleep.
"Soph, don't be nervous. You'll do great." He sits up on his elbow, staring at me.
"You're right. I can do this." I get up and start to move, going through my suitcase and heading to the bathroom with some clothes.
"Soph, you can do anything. You're doing great after the whole incident and you can do this. Prove everyone wrong."Jay yells as I close the bathroom door.
I curl my hair into loose curls and throw on my white lace crop top and my red pom- pom shorts. I do a wing liner and natural makeup.
"I can do this. You can do this Sophia." I look into the mirror and smile before heading back into the bedroom, with Jay sitting on the couch, ready to go.
"Ready Soph?" He finishes tying his shoes, standing up.
"Ready as I'll ever be." I whisper.
We walk out into the elevator. As soon as Jay pushes the button, it opens. "Must be our lucky day." He smiles, letting me go in the elevator first. He presses the lobby button.
"Yeah, it must be." I jump. Just wait until tonight. "So Jay, we are doing supper tonight, right?" I look into his baby blue eyes just wishing he could be mine.
His lips turn into a grin. "Yes. I'd love too."
The elevator opens, and we walk through the crowded lobby, and out into the steaming sun. "So my last event is at five, so lets say six thirty?" We find our charter bus and make our way onto it, already spotting Isaac, Isabella, Jacob, and Olivia.
"Yeah, that sounds great Soph." Jay motions to sit in the row behind the four of them, right under an air vent.
"I was also thinking we could stay in my room tonight, I just want a change for once."I laugh, looking out the window viewing the highway as the bus makes its short pathway to the arena.
"Sure Soph. Whatever you need I'm here."He rubs my shoulder reassuringly. Another chill goes down my throat at the contact. I just need tonight to get here already.
The bus makes our stop and Jay grabs my hand. "Everything is going to be okay, Soph. You got this, and you know I'll be watching you every time today." We stand up, our hands entwined, and walk off the bus.
"Sophia Kelller!" A man runs up to Jay and I. Jay immediately tightens his grip around me, alarmed.
"Yes?" I turn around to face the man, a camera around his neck and a voice recorder in his hand.
"Hi, I'm William Krager, executive writer for U.K Today. Do you have any comment on the accused kidnapping by the Hathley's?" He asks, another camera man coming from the side, video taping.
My blood boils. Accused? "Accused? There is no accused to it. They.. they kidnapped me and.." I can't finish my sentence before tears start to accumulate.
"Listen here. There is no accused, to this and she does not feel like answering questions. Stay away from my girl, or there will be a lawsuit against you." Jay seethes, gripping my hand and pulling me through the press crowd for the event, and into the arena.
"Are you okay Sophia?" Jay pulls me into a hug, and I bury my head into his chest not wanting to be seen.
"We need to get to the room. We have a Q and A panel in fifteen minutes." Is all I say. "You'll be right next to me, right?" We continue to walk to the green room, getting our mics hooked up.
