"kookie-ya," lisa finally spoke, bringing me out from my thoughts. "you haven't talked since that girl you were talking to earlier arrived."

"sorry." was all i could say for now, blinking confusingly.

she just sighs, but then she nodded. "it's fine, i understand."

it wasn't like she heard our conversation earlier right?

"jeon, i wasn't that drunk." jieun stood in front of me, fingers fumbling with each other, but kept her eyes on my level. "i.. i knew what i was doing."

"j-jieun, y-you have a boyfriend." i couldn't believe this was happening. knowing iu-sunbaenim, she'd just play around and tease me like her dongsaeng, but.. "y-you're just going through a rough time, that's all. you're going to get over it soon, i promise."

slowly, her footsteps started closing the gap between us, she stared deep into my eyes as i gulped nervously.

"jeon, i know this is wrong. but can i ask you for a favor, as your noona?"

"mrs. lee, we're home." lisa announced, bowing politely with a smile pasted on her face.

the old woman simply gruffed and nodded in acknowledging our presence, adjusting her eyeglasses as she tried wrapping the bandage around the injured arm of a kid.

mrs. lee suddenly called for lisa, asking for a helping hand. she followed courteously, kneeling down to set her eyes on the young one's.

"hey, little guy, don't worry. it'll get better soon, i promise." she wiped the wet cheeks of the child with her fingers and gave him a lollipop to.. make him feel better, i guess.

"w-what favor?"

meanwhile, i stayed put in the bed section with my arms crossed against my chest. i simply watched the two doing their best to help those entering the clinic.

i would've never had thought the clinic could get this busy. usually, i'd think the opposite. but seeing this scene made me reflect a lot on my words on how useless having a clinic would be.

"we could use a helping hand here." mrs. lee gestured me with her old wrinkly hand to sit beside her, that i did.

i saw the little girl crying as mrs. lee kept glaring down on her, as if it could stop her from bursting her tears out.

hesitantly, i grabbed the cleansing aid from her grasp. she looked at me with squinted eyes, her hand never leaving the girl's burnt arm.

"ah, i-i wanted to try." i made my way to sit in front of the little girl who was still bawling her eyes out. as soon as mrs. lee stood up, i gently kept patting the head of the little girl, trying to soothe her. "what's your name?"

"j-jimin."

"jimin? what a cute name."

"thank you," i managed to breathe more easily when she managed to let out a smile at me. ( a/n : no pun intended for jikook-but you're welcome lol )

"that's a good girl." thanks to her being distracted, i managed to wipe her tears off as i applied the cleansing aid then gently placed a large band aid over it. "do you feel better now?"

she nodded innocently, caressing the burnt area on her forearm. "yes, very much so. thank you!" she waved her hand goodbye as she left the clinic.

lisa pats her patient, looking over me as she led the boy out the clinic, into his mother's arms. "how does it feel like to treat someone for the first time?"

"how would you know it's my first time?"

"i-i don't."

i softly chuckled at her getting embarrassed all of a sudden. "it's my first time.. helping someone. and it feels good. real good."

she claps her hands timidly as she smiled at me. "i'm glad you think so."

let's just say, i hoped she wouldn't bring back the talk IU-sunbaenim and I had talked about earlier. it would just seem.. wrong to hear it over again.

"help me get over him, please."

a/n : i saw liskook as one of the nominees for we got married (and omfg yoonmin won! Jfnaidnjs *crosses fingers so they approve*) but..a lot commented things like ew, choke, and lots of those common meme stuffs so..

uh, i'm saying i still ship them, but for those who are uncomfortable with liskook but still want to read this story, lemme tell you-lisa doesn't necessarily have to be the lisa from BP. I just used her as one of the characters since she's my bias in BP and like i said, my story for WINGS are all connected ;)
