We laughed and chatted more, along with the other people. I felt happy that I was sitting among the people without having to get my seraph blade and kill a demon. I felt normal. I felt happy, even if it wasn't long, that I was living the way I once did before I had heard of the shadowhunter world.
Sebastian paid for the food and we left. We headed away from all of the music and laughter towards the quiet part of town. A woman, old and weak, lay on a street path, a thin blanket held up to her. She begged for money, though many people ignored her. As we walked past, Sebastian threw money into the pot, the lady smiling and thanking him.
"Clary, I believe that everyone should have an equal life and financial care as to everyone else. Why should one women starve and sleep at night, with only a thin blanket to keep her warm in the frosty hours, whilst there is others in this world that live in huge mansions, wasting their money on things they don't need."
"Sebastian, I don't know if you've noticed, but you're one of those people." I giggled,
"But I am not like those that laugh and mock the ones in need. I don't think anyone is more important then others." He exclaimed,
"I agree, but the world we live in is full of people who are greedy."
"That is why I want to lead. If you look at the clave and the other downworlders and shadowhunters; the clave sees downworlders as a threat, a species that is worthless and unacceptable. Shadowhunters and downworlders have never been equal to each other, nor do they like each other. The clave may act like they do, but it is a lie. A false act of love. If I lead, I will change the way we see each other. I will lead a world in which shadowhunters see downworlders as an amazing species. I want to lead a world where we all live happily, fighting alongside each other, rather than against each other."
"Sebastian, that sounds amazing. I always fight for the downworld. I see Alec fight against Maryse and the rest of the clave because he has a warlock boyfriend."
"Ah, Magnus Bane, the highest warlock of Brooklyn."
"You know him?"
"I have heard of him, yes, but not had the chance to meet him."
"Why?"
"Well, it's a shadowhunter and a downworlder, that are dating. I want to fight for more of that in society."
"Yeah.."
"Is there something wrong?"

My mind flashed to simon, a vampire that will live forever, who is my boyfriend.
"Clary, look out there."
I looked up. In front of me was the sea, lit up from the moonlight. Down below was boats, swaying gently in the water.
"Come on."
He scrambled up the stone wall. He stood straight and jumped off. I gasped and looked over the edge.
In the distance I saw him standing in a boat, looking up at me.
"Jump, I'll catch you." He called,
I breathed and stood on the wall. I looked down, taking a few seconds to focus. I inhaled, then jumped. I felt the thrilling sensation as I fell through the windy air. I felt like I was falling forever until I fell into his arms. I looked up at him,
"Clary, you are going to have to stop falling into my arms, it's embarrassing. I know you love me and all, but please."
I laughed, then stood up straight, my feet hitting the rocking boat.
The moonlight gazed upon us, casting a white light over our faces.
I looked up into his eyes, him looking down on me,
"I'm sorry I misjudged you. You aren't as bad as I thought you would be."
"As bad?" He raised his eyebrows,
"Oh, it's the vegetarian thing and all, I just can't stand it."
"Oh, of course."
I giggled, whilst he let out a slight laugh.
"Sebastian, this is nice and all.. but there is one problem."
"What? What is it?"
"How the hell are we going to get out?"
He laughed, a proper laugh.
"I guess we are going to have to swim."
"Wait, what?"
Before I could react, he picked me up by the waist and threw me in the water.
As I fell through, the cold water hit me. I couldn't see anything, only pitch black. I felt a huge wave, as Sebastian crashed through. I felt scared, not knowing what was in the sea.
A bright light lit up, causing my eyes to go fuzzy. As they readjusted, I saw that Sebastian held his witchlight.
I looked around, being able to see everything clearly now.
The sea was empty, no fishes seen around. Down below was rocks, all tightly squeezed together.
I didn't feel the water drowning me, thanks to my stamina rune.
Bubbles came out of Sebastian's mouth as he muttered something,
"What?" I tried to reply, yet it was inaudible,
He moved closer to me, invading my personal space.
"Isaidkhidnddmemd." He muffled,
"I tried to mouth what, but it still didn't come out.
I tried to speak again, but I couldn't, not because of the water, but because he crashed his lips against mine. At first i was shocked, wanting to pull away.
But something kept me still, leading me to kiss back. I tried to push off but something stopped me, something that sparked inside me.
