The Whip

I then heard a

"Steven?..." I shook my head and realized I was just daydreaming, even though it was more of a nightmare.

"O-oh h-hey Amethyst."

"You called me?.."

"U-uh yeah right. Um w-would you mind h-helping me with this door?"

"Sure thing Steven!" She pushed the door, pulled the door, nothing worked.

"Maybe if I..." she then pulled out her whip and slashed the door. The door split in two and fell backwards. I saw a dark staircase leading upwards.  I looked up at her with stars in my eyes.

"Wow!" I said. She looked at me with a smirk.

"That's pretty powerful! ...But enough with my whip, we need to get out of here. " Amethyst said.

"Right, right. Anyways, grab Pearl and I'll be waiting for you up ahead." She nodded and turned around. As for me, I walked straight into the doorway and up the stairs. Every step I took made a slight 'squeak'. I was scared someone might hear me, but I quickly hurried to the top. When I reached the top I took some deep breathes. I then stood up and looked for what was ahead of me. I noticed a long empty hallway with dim lighting. I then turned around and scream whispered

"Amethyst?"

"Coming dude. It's hard to carry another 124 pounds on your back while going up stairs!!!" I couldn't see her but I knew she was close.

"Almost there Steven!" I could hear her heavy breathing and the squeaking of the steps coming closer to me. A couple seconds later I could finally see her with Pearl on her back. I then heard a muffled

"Supper time you scoundrels... Wha-WHAT??!! HEY!! WHERE DID YOU DIRTY GEMS GO??!!!"

"Oh no, Amethyst hurry up!" I scream whispered again.

"I'm doing the best I can!! Almost there aaaaaaaannnnnddddddd..... I'm here!" She grabbed pearl off of her back and gently set her down against the wall. She bent over and was breathing heavily like I was.

"We have to get going Amethyst!!"

"I'm hurrying, I'm hurrying!!... But this time you're carrying Pearl." I nodded and picked up Pearl and placed her on my back. She wasn't as heavy as I thought she would be.

"Ok. Follow me." I said.

"Do you know where your going Steven?"

"No, but we're going to find out."

*Time skip* 

We were walking down the hall for about a good five minutes until we finally reached a door.

"Ehem."

"Oh right. Let me uh.. get my whip." She said as she summoned her weapon out of her chest. She again, used her whip to split the door in two. On the other side was a yellow Pearl.
