'Hey Kenz,' smiled Johnny, wrapping his arm round my waist.
'Hey J,' I said. 'Have you heard? There's gonna be a new kid in class!'
'Yeah, I've heard,' he grinned. 'Do you think it's gonna be a girl or a boy?'
'I'm hoping girl,' I laughed.
'I'm hoping boy, ' he said.
'Of course you are,' I smiled. 'What? There's so many girls in the class already,' he said, rolling his eyes.
'Yes, but boys are annoying. I'm pretty sure you're the only exception, cos you're only annoying 99% of the time' I pointed out.
'If you say so,' he sighed, and I laughed.
'Come on,' I said. 'Let's go find out.'
*at the start of 1st period.*
'Class, I have a new student to introduce today,' said our science teacher, Mr Rice. 'His name is Hayden Summerall, and he's new here. Please welcome him.'
I caught Johnny's eyes and he smirked.
Hayden stood up from the corner of the room.
'Hayden, please sit at the back, next to Johnny.'' Said Mr Rice.
Johnny grinned, and smiled as Hayden sat down next to him.
