I held my phone in my hand, waiting for a call from Johnny. Finally my familiar ringtone played and I accepted the call almost immediately.
'Kenz?' Said the receiving end.
'Johnny?' I said.
'Kenz, listen to me. You need to get here, right now. I think I just made this a million times w-'
Then he was interrupted by a knock at the door.
'Johnny-'
'I'm serious kenz! You need to get here right this instant. I'm not-' 'Johnny, someone just knocked at the door,' I whispered.
Johnny was silent for a moment.
'Kenzie,' he said. 'Hide. I have no time to explain, I'll be there as soon as possib-'
Then the phone got cut off as someone broke the door down.
