I ran my fingers through my tangled hair then sighed as I scanned the pages of my chemistry book. I have finished all of my studies an hour ago and I am now bored to death. You see, there's a disadvantage about being the nerd I am; I always finish my studies so early before the exams that I don't know what to do with my life any more. I checked the time on my phone and found it eight in the evining.
I shighed again and walked to my kitchen. Once there, I opened the fridge and searched for any good food to eat until my eyes fell on a bar of chocolate. I grabbed it and read the expiration date. I sighed as it was expired. I threw it in the trash bin then found myself a can if soda. I opened it then walked over to the couch and threw myself on it forcefully.
I grabbed my phone. No new texts. I opened my facebook and found 50 new messages and 70 new friend requests as I didn't log in on my account ages ago.
The messages and friend requests were mostly from people who used to shove me past them or who used to make fun of me, so I didn't accept any of them. They're probably sending me these requests because I am this new Annabeth Chase.
I closed my facebook as there was nothing interesting and then sighed. I turned on the telly, hoping there would be a re-run of Friends. Instead, there was a re-run of CSI: Miami. I turned it off and stared at the cieling.
I miss Harry so damn much. I wonder what he is doing right now. Is he studying or is he planning on going out?
I grabbed my phone again and decided on texting him.
"Hey. What are you up to?" I sent and patiently waited for a response, which came sooner than what I had expected.
"Hey there! Nothing actually what about you?"
"Nothing. I'm bored as hell!!"
"So can I pick you up for a ride? ;)" I furrowed my brows in confusion as I stared at the text.
"What ride?"
"Surprise! I'll take that as a yes and will pick you up in ten. Wear anything casual and a jacket." I smiled, knowing I'd be spending the night with Harry. I glanced at the wall clock and found it eight fifteen in the evening. I don't really know why he ordered me to wear a jacket in June, but I ignored it.
I quickly darted to my bedroom and scanned my wardrobe for an outfit. I must admit that I have way more casual clothes than any ordinary girl. I picked a pair of black, skinny jeans, a black tank top and a black leather jacket. I know I shouldn't be wearing all this black, but we're only out for a ride.
I put on the clothing I picked and then combed my straight, brown hair. It looks really good naturally so I often straightten it. I applied some mascara to my lashes and then drew two thin lines above my lids with my black eyeliner. I looked at my chapped, pale lips then added some pink gloss in order to add a color to them.
I checked my appearance in the mirror and smiled. I look good in all these black clothes and black make up. I checked the time on my phone and found that it was already eight thirty.
Harry said he'd be here in ten, so where he hell is he? Just before I could ask any more questions, my phone buzzed, signaling there was a new text. I quickly grabbed it and found one from Harry.
"I'm in front of your building. Come down." I have to admit that I am confused. Harry always picks me up from my door.
I quickly shrugged this subject off and put on my long, black boots that ended below my knees with some inches.
I placed my phone and my keys in my pockets and stepped out of the apartment, locking the door behind me.
I exited the elevator and was soon out the front door of the building. Once out, I saw a motorbike across the street and his owner wearing a black helmet, black jeans, a black t-shirt, a black, baggy leather jacket and he wwas leaning against the motorbike. What a creep.
