Dylan and I decided to have lunch this afternoon. Me and Wayne haven't been talking since Dylan showed up.
I didn't feel like getting dressed today. I threw on some dark jeans and a log sleeved green holister shirt.I put on my brown uggs grabbed my keys and left.
DYLANS P.O.V
I chocked down my pills and drank a bottle of water. My head was banging , my hands were sweaty and I was struggling to just do 'normal things'.
The house was better then the white hostpital. I struggled to put the cap on my medicine bottle.
My mom noticed and rushed to help me " here I'll help you baby "
She placed the bottle on the table
" I can do it my self you know "
She nodded her head " where are you going ? "
" Kanvas and I are having Lunch " mom mom knew I was missing Kanvas like crazy
She pulle me into a hug which surprised me. " I'm not ready to loose you to another girl "
I patted her back " I think I'm doing fine with two women "
She laughed as I grabbed my jacket " do you mind driving me ? "
" will you clean up ? " I figured that was a long shot so I saluted her before walking out the back door.
The cafe wasn't to busy , I sat in the corner back as I waited for Kanvas. She looked nervous as she walked in and sat in front of me.
" hey Kan " I said as I looked at her
She looked at me for a second "Hey Del"
I laughed as I looked over the menu " so , who was the guy ? "
"What guy ? " she asked defensively
" the one that left your house before I came "

I looked at her but she didn't want to look at me " Do all your friends come over "
" God Dylan , you can't just -- it's none of your business what me and my friends do "
"Does he like you ? "
"No "

"Have you kissed him before ? " I looked over the desserts " from what I hear he's a player "
Her face redden as she yelled " we messed around ! " she looked down ashamed " I don't see how this is important "
" I just don't think I want him near you now that I'm here "
She took this as a compliment and looked down blushing. I really couldn't loose her to him.
After we got our food we left and walked the 4 blocks back to my house.
I stopped walking a few times to catch my breath. She noticed. The worry was plastered on her face.
" Dylan what is going on with you , are you okay ? " she stopped me and stood in front of me
I placed her hand over my heart " I have coronary arty disease " the words just flew out. I paused not breaking our eye contact " I could've even get out of bed for weeks "
She was about to apologize but I placed my index finger over get mouth to stop her
" please, don't say sorry this is my burden I can't change that I was born with a weak heart but I will use everything in me to prove how sorry and worth it I was an idiot for ignoring you their were days where I would just think about you and wonder if you hate me. Kanvas... You were the only girl I was thinking about when I was laying in a hospital bed with wires hooked up to me like I was some lab experiment "
I grabbed her waist and pulled her closer to me "Just give me time to prove how much you mean to me "
" Okay " she teared up during my confession so I wiped a few of her tears
I placed her hand over my heart "My heart is literally beating for you"
She smiled sweetly as she buried her head in my chest " I love the sound of your heart no matter how many beats it skips or how long it beats "
" Are you sure? I mean its beating fast right now "
She giggled as she lifted her head
" Dylan you and I will figure it all out but not today..."
I nodded. She intertwined our fingers. I was smiling and she was smiling. We continued walking but went to my house since it was closer.
Her hair flowed in the wind while she smiled happily. I didn't think she'd take the news of my heart so lightly I thought she might be over dramatic , loud , or not even care. But not Kanvas, she just listened and I was happy to have her back.
