The Day You Said Goodnight

I just like to make something that will let my mind be free from random story plots. So here's the first. Hope you liked it.

It was almost nine in the evening. Chanyeol was still seated to one of the twenty four seven store near by Baekhyun's work place. He was waiting for almsot two and a half hour now but still no sign of Baekhyun arrive.

And this is what he hated most, spending long hours of waiting for nothing. Most especially when he needs to go home as early as he can, where lots of paper works given by his boss was also waiting for him to finish, and adding up the deadline that is very short that if he will not start it now, he'll be doomed

Finally, the bell hanging on the glass door of the store makes a sound signaling that someone came in the store

Chanyeol quickly pushes his butt up not waiting for Baekhyun to walk towards him. He nonchalantly move his feet towards the his boyfriend who was currently talking to someone who seems to be his co worker

"Alright see you tomorrow" Baekhyun smiles dearly to the guy as he bow for a goodbye

"What took you so long" Baekhyun startle when Chanyeol's deep voice was heard behind him

He turn just to see his mad and frowning boyfriend who was giving him a sharp look that almost dig in his heart

Baekhyun hates this kind of Chanyeol the most. A kind of Chanyeol that look at him with full of anger thag not even a hint of passion was there, a kind of Chanyeol that pains him emotionally by just looking at him

"I was...my shift was extended so...Im sorry" he breath heavily feeling his heart crumpled as the look on Chanyeol's face didnt change

"You should have told me earlier so that I didnt wait like a weirdo here. Dont you know how much time I've wasted just to wait for you" Chanyeol almost yell at him making Baekhyun flinch and lowkey eyeing the surrounding if there's someone watching them

Thankfully they're the only costumer along with the cashier who was not giving them a look

"D-dont yell at me. Im sorry" Baekhyun apologize reaching Chanyeol's hand

But Chanyeol brush his hand away

"You made me wait for a long hour. Then went here with a guy. I cant believe you Baekhyun" Chanyeol accused digging Baekhyun's heart

"Lets not make a scene here" The midget mumbles and so Chanyeol walk pass him and leave the store

He felt a warm liquid forming around his eyes as he watch Chanyeol's back disappear from his sight

For five years of their relationship. The pass one year was the worst, they will not last a day without arguing just like right now. But in the end of the day one will surely find way to fix it. Its just that they're both stress from work sum up with tiredness and all.

But its the first time Chanyeol left him behind. Chanyeol never let him walk alone. Baekhyun can hear the loud pounding of his heart along with the warm salty water started running against his cheeks

He quickly wiped it off and decided to follow his mad boyfriend who seems to be already at the bus stop

Chanyeol arrives home. He expect a quiet and lonely home for he only live alone in a small apartment near by his work while Baekhyun still live with his parents

When he open the door of his apartment. All lights was on a sound of utensils from the kitchen can be heard from the door

"Chanyeol?" A sound of Baekhyun's voice echoes in the small room that gives warm to Chanyeol's heart

He felt sorry and guilty leaving his boyfriend behind. He wants to go back but he was already in thr bus when his cloudy mind went clear

"Baekhyun? Why are you here?" He ask when he saw the midget cooking wearing his apron on

Baekhyun sweetly smile at him and turn off the stove before walking towards him. The midget stops right in front of him and look up to him with its puppy look that captivate him every time

"Chanyeol-ah dont be mad anymore. I said I was sorry. Please forgive me, I couldnt tell you about the extension of my shift because it was sudden that I have no time to touch my phone" the midget explains looking down on his feet

Chanyeol feel stupid for over reacting towards the situation. So he reaches for Baekhyun's cheek and cup it to make the midget look at him again

"Its okay love. Im sorry for yelling at you too"

Baekhyun smile once again and take a moment to stare at Chanyeol's face that was just inches away from his

"Youre really handsome aren't you?" Baekhyun complimented trying not to blink to not miss a single glance to Chanyeol's face

Chanyeol chuckle before pulling Baekhyun for a bone breaking embrace

"Chanyeol" Baekhyun calls making Chanyeol look down to him "Always remember that I love you" he continue

And when Chanyeol was about to open his mouth to return the three words his cellphone rings

"Answer your cellphone first" Baekhyun command breaking their hugs

When Chanyeol reaches his phone from his pocket the call ends replacing the call to misscall so he focus back to Baekhyun who is now taking off the apron

"Chanyeol I have to go now. Take care okay?"

"But what about you cooked? Youre not eating with me?"

Baekhyun just shook his head and head towards the door where Chanyeol only follows him

And when they reached the door Baekhyun turn around to face Chanyeol again. He tip toe and place a quick kiss on the giant's lips

"I love you remember that. Goodnight" Baekhyun said and Chanyeol's phone rings once again so Chanyeol quickly went back to the kitchen to get his phone

Baekhyun Calling...

Was written on the screen

Confused and all. He walk back to the door to check on Baekhyun but no one was there. He look back to his phone that rings continuously

"Maybe he forgot something" he mumbles and swipe the screen to answer still facing the door

"Yes love? Di-"

"Mr. Park, this is Seoul Hospital a male named Byun Baekhyun was rushed here just a minute ago. Im sorry to say he's dead on arrival.."

And when he look around his apartment again. All lights were off and no sign of anyone came in here before him

He ended the call even though the person from the other line was still talking

He's mind suddenly went black. He cant even hear anything and all he can feel was his heart wanted to be free from his ribcage

He stare at his phone wanting to convince his self that it was only a joke but a last message from Baekhyun crashed him down

"Love...I know youre mad but I want to say Im sorry please call me when you receive this. I want to go there but its late so I'll just see you when you already forgive me. I love you Chanyeol always. Goodnight..."
