Kirstie, Scott, Mitch, Avi, and Kevin boarded the flight that would take them home. They all chatted exhaustedly among themselves as they boarded and continued chatting as they took their seats.
Kirstie, Avi, and Kevin all sat together while Scott and Mitch sat together a few seats back.
"What do you think Scott and Mitch are doing?" asked Kevin.
"Scott's flirting with Mitch and giving him heart eyes, while Mitch is talking about fashion" came Avi's prompt reply.
They turned in their seats to look at said people and saw Mitch talking about the new Vetements line while Scott was giving him so many heart eyes.
The group aww'd at how cute the scene was and turned back around. A couple of hours later they realized that they hadn't heard from Scomiche in a while and turned back around to see them.
What they saw melted their hearts. Scott had made Mitch more comfortable by raising the armrest of the chair and putting Mitch's head on his chest. Mitch had then curled up on Scott's body and was sleeping peacefully.
The group saw Scott place a kiss on Mitch's cheek and the top of his head and then put his head on top of Mitch's head and fall asleep.
The group smiled at their sleeping and in love friends and left them to sleep in peace. Avi turned towards Kirstie and asked "Why aren't they dating?"
Kirstie explained "Oh they did, in high school. Mitch broke up with Scott two weeks after they started dating. Scott took it hard, because he always had a crush on Mitch. They didn't talk for half a year. I think Scott doesn't want to go through all that again, and keeps his feelings to himself. Although he makes it quiet obvious with all of his heart eyes."
Kirstie finished her explanation and looked at her fellow band mates. Their eyes were wide with shock and understanding. "That makes a lot of things, like Heart eyes Hoying, make sense." Avi said.
Then Kevin asked "Why are they so touchy-feely with each other."
Kirstie replied to him with a "They used to hook up in Scott's car. Maybe they're hooking up again. That or they still have feelings for each other." Kirstie's explanation sounded plausible, but Kevin and Avi weren't so sure.
"I don't think they're hooking up again." said Avi. Kirstie gave him an incredulous look. "How do you explain that night in New York when they were snowed in their rooms, and the next day Mitch had marks on his collerbone. He was only with Scott the whole time." Kirstie finished exasperated.
"Oh I guess when you put it that way, it does make sense." Avi said. They glanced at their cuddling best friends and decided to leave them alone and get some rest.
