Scott opened the door, only to be greeted by a wonderful aroma and the sound of his husband humming in the kitchen as he cooked. Scott entered the kitchen and wrapped his arms around Mitch, who turned around and happily chirped "Scotty , you're home!!" and gave him a quick, chaste kiss, welcoming him home.
Scott smiled down at him, taking in the beauty that stood in front of him. "It sells good in here, baby. What are you making?" He asked curiously as Mitch turned back to his cooking. "Chicken Alfredo. It's going to be good." Mitch replied as he stirred the pot. "Can't wait to eat it. It smells so good already. I'm sure anything you make will taste amazing." Scott complimented him, earning him a kiss on the cheek.
Scott went to their room to change, and by the time he was ready for the night, dinner was ready. "Hey honey, can you please set the table?" Mitch asked him when he came out if their room. "Yeah, I got it sweetie." He told Mitch. "Yeah, the last time you said you got setting the table, you dropped both the plates." Mitch playfully glared at Scott, who pouted at the scolding. "Hey I said I was sorry for that." Mitch laughed and kissed Scott's pout away. "I was just teasing babe. Come on, the foods getting cold." He said, as he and Scott sit down at the table.
Every night after Scott came home from work Mitch and Scott would always eat dinner together without any distractions, and just talk. Their conversations would range from their day to their plans for the weekend to sweet and perfect declaration of their love for each other. Dinner was their time to escape their busy lives, and just be the in love couple they were.
After dinner was finished, they cuddled up on the couch while they watched Big Bang Theory. Eventually Mitch got distracted, finding the beautiful man next to him much more fascinating. He admired his beautiful blue eyes that when he looked in them, felt as though he drowning in a pool of security and comfort. He admired the arms that held him when he needed to be held, the arms that drove him crazy in the most delicious way. "What are you looking at?" Scott asked, staring at Mitch who flushed crimson as he realized he'd been caught.
"Looking at you." He murmured in response. He could feel Scott's questioning gaze on him. "Just admiring how beautiful you are." He elaborated, and smiled when he saw Scott turn bright red as well. Scott leaned down and kissed Mitch sweetly. Mitch broke the kiss, only to say "I love you", and then went back to kissing his husband. The pair finally broke apart for air and Scott softly murmured "I love you so much. More then you know." Mitch kissed Scott,and the two cuddled up again and resumed watching Tv before heading to bed.
