I was taking a dip in my bath tub for almost and hour and a half since I got home. Submerging my whole body, only my face could be seen. Staring at the ceiling blankly while images shoot through my eyes like a projector. I still can't stop thinking about everything that had happened today. I never believed in "love at first sight" but this, I don't know what to call it. I mean, I wasn't really sure if it was already love. Since I was a kid, I believe that there's this kind of stage thing before you consider it to be love. I guess it's more of an admiration or amusement for beginners like me. I grabbed my phone and checked what time it was. It was almost 9pm. I felt a little grumble inside my belly. I forgot I haven't eaten my dinner yet. So I got out of the tub and dried myself with a towel. Put on some over-sized shirt, underwear and a really short boxers. That's what I usually wear when I'm at home. It's really comfortable. Almost feel like I'm naked. Before I went downstairs, I decided to have a smoke so I went out to the balcony just outside my room. Lit my cigarette and inhaled that stress relieving goodness. Then I puffed and tried to play with the smoke coming out of my mouth when suddenly I saw a flash beside me and I was so shocked and afraid. Like a criminal caught in the act doing something evil. I darted at a balcony about 10 feet away from mine and I saw Jhay giggling at me.
"I didn't knew you smoke!" Jhay shouted.
"What are you doing?! Please delete that!" As I threw my cigarette somewhere acting pissed. "I don't usually smoke. Just occasionally."
"Sorry. I was just hanging out here when I saw you went out. I tried to take a photo of you smoking cause I thought it was really cool. I didn't mean to piss you off or anything. Can I come over?"
Looking really shocked. Jhay wants to come over at my place? I never invited anybody to go to my place except for Jean. I get awkward with guys whenever I'm alone with them.
"Uhm. Sure. Why don't you come over. I'm gonna have dinner." I invited him without even thinking it through.
"Thanks! I'll be there in a sec!" Then he ran inside his house.
Ding Dong! Someone rang the doorbell. That might be Jhay. I look through the peephole on my door and saw him. He even brought his camera with him. I opened the door and invited him in. As he entered and passed me, I smelled his perfume. He was fresh like he just got out of the shower.
"Sorry I just invited myself here. I'm really bored back there. Haven't really fixed my room so it's kind of a mess. My room was just across yours."
I did see pile of boxes at his balcony. So both our rooms were just across each other? Was everything just a coincidence?
"Wow!" as Jhay looked around my place looking shocked. "You live all by yourself yet you manage to keep everything clean and organized!"
"I'm kind of obsessive-compulsive so I get stressed out if something is out of place." I explained. "So please don't touch anything unless you put it back."
"Neat! I wish I was like that. My mom would always tell me to clean up." Looking really happy.
"Come on. Had you taken your supper yet? I cooked pasta." Inviting him to the kitchen.
While eating, we actually did talk. I thought we would go on a silent awkward mode again. But no. I did discover a few things about him. He had an older brother who works for a famous Men's Fashion Magazine. That's why he wanted to be a photographer, so that he might be able to work with his brother. And he was single since birth. So I guessed he was a virgin. Well I hope. Being single since birth doesn't mean you can't have sex with somebody, right? I crossed my fingers.
I looked at the time and it was 10:43pm.
"Aren't you going home? It's kinda late. I bet your mom is looking for you now." I told him. I was tired to be honest. I wanna go to sleep now.
