Chapter 19

It has been a couple months since Loki came back, Tony has improved a lot, his tubes have been removed and he is now able to walk on his own. But his attitude still isn't the same as it used to be. Tony used to be happy all of the time, now he is a lot, but there's those times where he just falls into like a depressed state. He doesn't know if Loki will stay with him so he just thinks of the worst things possible. 

"Hey Tony? Is there anything you want to talk about?" Loki asked as he played with Tony's hair. Tony was laying down with his head in Loki's lap, in one of those moods again.

"Meh." Tony just shrugged. There was a lot he wanted to talk about but he didn't want to bother him.

"Sweetie. You know you can always talk to me. You can tell me anything and everything that's going on inside your head. I just want to help." Loki explained. 

"No." Tony said. He only uses one word sentences when he is like this. 

"Tony.. Why don't we go take a bath." Loki said and stood up, picking him up and taking him to the bathroom. 

"Meh.." Tony mumbled.

Loki sighed and put him down on the edge of the tub, turning the water on. He got down on his knees and cupped Tony's cheeks. "I love you." He said and kissed Tony's forehead. He began taking off his own clothes, once he was finished he began carefully taking off Tony's clothes. "You're still as beautiful as I remember." Loki smiled and picked him up again.

"Meh." Tony said again, although a slight blush appeared on his face he was still in that mood. Loki put some bubbles into the warm bath before sitting down in it, keeping Tony in his lap. 

"I really do love you Tony, and I want you to be comfortable with telling me things." He said. "I don't like seeing you like this. This isn't you, although you've gotten better there are still times and I want them to go away. You don't deserve to think like this." 

"Meh..." Tony said, he sat thinking for a few minutes before looking up at Loki. "Will you leave me again?" He started to tear up. 

"What? Baby no. I won't." Loki cupped Tony's cheeks again and just gazed into his eyes. "I will never leave you. I promise you that."

"B-because I'm afraid you will leave me again.. and then I will be here by myself again." Tony began to cry. Loki pulled him close and laid Tony's head on his shoulder. "I can't be alone. I can't function to.. be alone."

"Shh" Loki said and stroked Tony's hair gently. 

"I-I'm sorry." Tony cried. It's like he couldn't stop crying, he tried to but nothing would work. "There's just so much. This isn't me but since you left I just, I just am this big mess and I don't know what to do!" 

"Calm down babe. Everything will be fine. I promise you everything will be okay." Loki said. He's glad that Tony was finally telling him all of this, but at the same time he is mad at himself that he is even like this since it is Loki's fault in the first place. 

"I'm sorry.." Tony began to calm down, he wasn't crying anymore he was just trying to catch his breath. "I really am sorry."

"Don't apologize." Loki said. They continued to sit there cuddling each other. Loki dozed off but was woken up by Tony poking his arm.

"Loki? Can we go lay down?" Tony yawned. They were both exhausted so Loki nodded and they both got out, drying off and went to put clean pajamas on. "I don't wanna wear pajamas." Tony said as he went and plopped down onto the bed naked. 

"Really? We are going to play this game again?" Loki asked. 

"I'm not wearing pajamas. They always get in the way." Tony said as he got under the covers. Loki sighed knowing he couldn't win this argument so he laid in bed next to Tony under the covers. He pulled Tony close to him and they cuddled again. 

"I love you, Tony." Loki said softly, kissing Tony's head.

"I love you too." Tony yawned and closed his eyes before quickly falling asleep. Loki stayed awake for just a little bit just to make sure Tony was actually asleep before he finally went to sleep.
