Chapter 20

The next morning Tony was the first one to wake up. He looked up at Loki and smiled, he looked so beautiful when he's sleeping. Tony kissed Loki's head before he got up and went to the kitchen. He began to make a big breakfast consisting of eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, hash browns, and a fruit salad. 

"It looks great babe." Loki said as he cam up behind Tony and hugged him. 

"Aw, thanks." Tony smiled as he finished getting all of the food ready. They both sat down and began eating, it was your typical small talk while eating breakfast scene. 

"This tastes amazing Tony" Loki said as he finished everything. Tony smiled and they began to pick up the mess. "You know what I think we should do today?"

"What should we do" Tony asked as he cleaned the dishes. 

"We should go out. We can go shopping, we can go for a walk, or we can just sit down at the park." Loki said.

"That sounds fun!" Tony smiled as they finished cleaning up he grabbed Loki's hand and brought him to the bedroom. "What are you thinking about wearing? Are we gonna wear like suits or regular people clothes?"

"I'm just going to wear normal clothes, I don't see the need to look super fancy. Do you?" Loki asked.

"Well yeah I do. But you know me, I like wearing suits." Tony smiled. "But I will wear normal clothes just for you."

"Okay sweetie." Loki kissed Tony's forehead before going into the closet to find clothes. He picked an emerald polo with black jeans and nice shoes, while Tony picked a salmon polo with cargo pants and Sperry's. 

"Aww don't you just look dark and dangerous." Tony laughed as he looked at Loki in the mirror.

"Excuse you. You look like a dad right now." Loki laughed, they were obviously two different styles but they fit one another. "You look amazing sweetie." Loki said as he took Tony's hand and they both walked out.

"I kinda want to go shopping." Tony said as he got into his car. 

"Alright. We can go shopping." Loki said as he got into the car as well. Off they went to the outdoor mall. 

"We should go out to dinner tonight." Tony said. 

"Okay. I'll make the reservations." Loki smiled. 

"Woah woah wait a minute. You're making a reservation?" Tony asked. 

"Well yeah. Anything for you." Loki said. "Just because I'm from a different realm doesn't mean I don't know what a reservation is." He laughed.

"I wasn't trying to say that, you know what I was trying to say." Tony blushed. "You know, I don't really want to buy anything, I just want to go and walk around with you."

"Well then let's do that. I never said you had to buy anything." Loki said.

"I know you didn't. I was just saying." Tony grabbed Loki's hand and walked around the mall with him, he would glance in stores every so often but they didn't go inside. 

"Are you sure you don't want to go into any stores sweetie?" Loki asked.

"Yeah. There's nothing that I see from out here so there's probably nothing inside." Tony said. They continued to walk around until it was about dinner time.

"Let's go get dinner." Loki smiled.

"Okay." Tony followed Loki to a really nice restaurant and they had a table out on the patio under all of the lights. "This is amazing.."

"Isn't it breathtaking?" Loki said as he gazed into Tony's eyes. He wasn't talking about the view around them of course. He was talking about the view in front of him.

"Shush." Tony blushed. The waitress came over and took their orders. "You are amazing Loki." Tony smiled.

"No. You are the amazing one. You loved me when no one else would. You were there for me when no one else was." Loki said.

"Babe stop you're gonna make me cry." Tony sniffled. 

"Sorry sorry." Loki smiled and took Tony's hand. "I love you." The waitress brought them their food.

"Food!" Tony said and started to eat. Loki laughed and began to eat as well, then Loki's phone rang, yes he had a phone. It was really Tony's phone but he doesn't want Tony to have it just yet. 

"Whoops, hold on." Loki smiled and got out the phone, answering it. "Hello?" He said. Tony looked up at him and Loki's smile began to fade away. "Oh.. and what time?" He said, his voice was low and almost sounded broken.

"Loki?" Tony asked, he was getting nervous. 

"We will uh. We will be there. Thanks." Loki hung up the phone and looked at Tony. 

"What happened?" Tony asked.

"Steve.. he.. passed away."
