•Christina•"I'm going to be there in 30 minutes, okay. Okay?" I hung up my phone throwing my hair into a high ponytail.
"Where you going baby?" Jordan came from the kitchen eating the leftovers I cooked from last night.
"I'm going to go check out the place. She just called me to come check it out." I stood on my tippy toes taking a shrimp out of Jordan shrimp fried rice.
"You want me to come withchu'?" He ate spoonful of his rice.
I shrugged. "You can come if you want babe." I smiled, he's so supportive.
"Ard. Lemme' go get dressed." He began to walk to the back room.
I sucked my teeth. "Jordan what's the matter with what you got on?" I eyed his appearance. His basketball shorts and white polo v-neck, was okay to me.
"I had this on since last night, after I showered."
"Whatever, you just wanna' look cute for them bitches. Just hurry up Jordan." I waved my hand sitting on the couch.
"Whatever Christina." He chuckled going to the room. I wasn't laughing tho. I was half serious, and half playing.
Mommy💛🔐
Popped up on my screen letting me know she was calling. Pressing he green icon, I answered.
"Mommy!" I screamed through the phone.
"Hey baby. Stop with all that screaming in my ear, but how's everything?"
"Everything is everything. That lady that I told you about just called me about the place."
"That's good baby. I'm proud of you, I really am. So where is the place at? You never told me."
"It's downtown on 13th street."
"That's a good choice baby, it's a lot of people going by there so you should have no problem with customers coming in."
"I know right, that's why that was the first place I picked. I shouldn't have no problem with attracting customers."
"Exactly, so did you find any people who's going to be working for you? Ya know, stylists?"
"A couple of people dm'ed me sending me pictures of their hairstyles they did and stuff like that, but I'm still looking you know. I have to interview them and stuff."
"Yeah. Make sure you pick the right people, you don't want no messy ass people representing you."
I laughed. "Right."
"C'mon baby, I'm ready." Jordan came from the back room looking too daddyish.
"That's Jordan? Tell him I said hey."
