"Move faster! Fight harder!" I snap with complete frustration. I watch with sharp calculating grey/silver storming eyes as the two warriors train together.

Their swords swing with power and grace, exact precision on their opponent as they clang together in perfect sync. Neither one beating the other.

"Hands!" I order curtly, crossing my arms as I slowly circle the two men. They've been outside training for a few hours now, but they've barely broken a sweat which means that their training needs to be taken up a notch in order for them to get better.

Their weapons are tossed to the sides as they smirk at one another, cracking the bones in their bodies as they prepare for full contact. They'll never purposely injure one another beyond bruising so I never have to worry about them turning on each other. Loyalty to one another always outweighs the savage beast lurking within.

"Alpha Seva you realise they're going to stop only when they drop, right?" The sound of Jason's voice floats in the wind as he appears out of thin air at my side which I expected. He's getting better with his training, soon he will be competing for the beta position. If I'm never around, my people will go to him for whatever they may need.

Glancing sideways at a slightly amused Jason, I flash him a small smile. "That was my point. Their wolves have been acting up lately, trying to force the shift" I explain to him with the most simple voice.

He furrows his brown eyebrows, looking slightly down at me as he's grown a few centimetres taller than I realised. He looked so much like his brother that I found it to be extremely comforting to be with him, even if he isn't the best friend I grew up with.

"That makes it easier for their wolves to take control" he tells me with a slightly confused voice, he glances at the two men as they continue to battle it out with their fists. Usually I wouldn't explain myself to anybody, but Jason will soon be my beta, I have to share this information with him as he will have to me. Alpha and beta titles work best when both sides are cooperative.

"If I'm correct, their wolves sense their mates nearby and want to go to her/him. The problem is, the human side is bound by blood oath to never accept a female mate. And male mates aren't common at all." I explain to him.

"...so they're ripping themselves apart." He figures out on his own, like the smart young warrior he is. I nod my head giving him a small reassuring smile.

"As my future beta, what is your advice on terminating the blood oath?" I ask him in a soft quiet voice, I didn't need anyone else overhearing our conversation. Wolves are very peculiar creatures, we sense when things are shifting, like a gut feeling.

His eyes snap to me, widening in shock. The last thing he ever expected to hear come from my mouth. "Alpha..that's very risky for everyone."

I sigh. I know that if I terminate the oath that stops them from having mates, the men that have already met their mates will turn against me. They will turn against this pack, their home. Because I killed their mates to ensure my rules were concrete, but now, knowing Lincoln, I realise how selfish it is of me to have a man that I love at my side, while they can never have their mates. If I have a mate, they should too. But half of my men already lost their mates. I'd lose so many brothers.

"If your serious about this, the only way to actually keep everyone at the same level would be to speak to them all, together. Give them the choice of deciding for themselves, and those who's mates are dead, they may simply want a woman to bed every night. I doubt they care that their mates are dead Alpha Seva, they barely got the chance to consider them as acquaintances, let alone establish the connection in which binds them together for eternity." Jason's words make perfect sense like most things he says, and most of the times they're true. My men didn't get the chance to even feel the flower bloom before the heads of their mates were shoved on spikes.
