I hug Julie and George before getting into the car next to Drew. Rolling down the window, I say, "Thank you guys. I love you,"
"We love you too. You too, Drew!" she chuckles. "Have a safe journey, keep in touch, and for God's sake Lydia, don't lose your temper."
I roll my eyes as I roll up the window. I am a very impulsive person. I tend to not think things through before doing them, and usually say the first thing that's on my mind. It drove my father insane, especially when I was at a stuffy social party where I was expected to have good manners and impress everyone. I've started fights more times than I can count.
"They're taking us to a suburb outside Vegas," Drew says, interrupting my thoughts. "Wanna hit the casinos?"
"They're taking us there so we're safe. Somehow I get the feeling that going to a casino isn't safe when there are people. Hell, going to a casino isn't safe, period." I say.
"I already asked one of the guys. If they come with us, and we don't get too drunk, it's fine," he says, his eyes full of excitement.
"Drew, you're twenty-one. I'm still underage. I shouldn't be drinking or going to casinos," I try to reason.
"That's your lamest excuse yet, and you know it," Drew retorts. "Tell me you haven't drunk illegally before and I'll quit bothering you,"
"I have, but-"
"No buts. You're coming, even if I have to throw you over my shoulder and carry you there myself," he interrupts, with a tone that tells me he's not to be argued with.
"You might drag me there, but I don't like to drink or gamble, so you're not going to have fun with me," I say, looking away.
"Yeah right. What nineteen year old doesn't like drinking?"
I look him in the eyes. "Me. It's bad for my health, and junk food is enough of a temptation. I don't need more crap destroying my body,"
"You have an amazing body," he says shamelessly, looking over my body.
I roll my eyes and look away, but I know I'll have to go to the casino. Truth be told, I despise drinking. The idea of losing control over my mind and body is terrifying. I don't know why someone would willingly give up their freedom to think and act clearly. I've drunk a few times at parties, I've even gotten completely wasted. But from experience, I know that bad things happen when I lose control. Not to mention the killer hangovers.
I fall asleep watching the monotonous desert scenery stretch before me. When I wake up, I see the world upside down, and my only view is someone's ass. A nice one, I might add. Nice round shape, not flat, but well toned.
"Put me down!" I yell, squirming.
A few seconds later, I'm on the ground, in front of a rather amused looking Drew. I narrow my eyes.
"Why exactly did I wake up to a view of your ass?" I demand.
"We reached the hotel we're staying at for the night, and the other guys went to get dinner. They gave me a key and told me to get you upstairs. We're 'not to leave the room once we get there'," he says, rolling his eyes. "And a rather nice ass it is. Nice round shape, not flat, but well toned,"
My eyes widen and my cheeks redden in embarrassment. I said that out loud? Holy crap. I'm never going to live this down.
I turn away from him and start walking quickly in the opposite direction, but realize that he has the key. Sighing, I walk back to him, not looking him in the eyes.
"Are you ready to see our rooms, or do you want to see my ass again?" he asks, his eyes bright with amusement.
"Shut up. Where are the rooms?" I snap. He puts his arm around my shoulder and guides me to the end of the hallway.
"Your room is this one," he says, unlocking it and handing me the key. "Mine is right next door. These two rooms are the guys' rooms. They said they'll have two people posted outside throughout the night,"
"Okay. Um, thanks," I say, standing awkwardly. Should I invite him in my room, or does he want to check out his? As if hearing my thoughts, he pushes my door open and strolls in. He turns on the lights as he goes through the suite.
"This is a cute room," I remark.
"Yeah, it is. The guys will get our clothes up once they come back," he adds.
"Why have I not talked to 'the guys'"? I say, putting air quotes with my hands.
"Because you were asleep, and I didn't want to wake you. Hell hath no fury like a woman woken up before she's ready," he jokes.
I roll my eyes and walk into the kitchen. I grab a bottle of water from the fridge and gulp it down greedily, hopping onto the counter. Drew tilts the bottle up as I'm drinking from it, causing water to spill all over me.
"You're so dead, Lynch!"
I hop off the counter and chase him around the suite. He jumps on the sofa and bunches up the rug, making a lump and causing me to trip. I fall right on the sofa; on him.
His face is inches from mine and he's barely containing his laughter. I smack his chest, and he puts his arms around me and lies down. I try to get up, but he's too strong and not letting go.
"Drew, go away," I growl.
"Lydia, you're on top of me. I should be telling you that," he says, fully laughing now.
"Lynch, I swear I will hurt you if you don't let me up right now," I say, trying to sound threatening.
"Alright, but only if you admit I'm the sexiest man alive," he whispers.
"Fine. You're the sexiest man alive," I admit, rolling my eyes.
"Oh come on. Say it like you mean it,"
"Can't do that if I don't,"
"If you don't convince me you mean it, you're not getting up,"
Alright buddy, you asked for it.
I run one hand through his hair and the other down his front. I lean in close, and let our foreheads touch. I hear his breath shortening.
"Drew Lynch, you are the sexiest man that has ever walked this Earth," I whisper seductively. I feel his hands slacken, and I don't think he's doing it on purpose.
I suddenly hear someone clearing their throat. I look up to see about five men standing in the entrance of the suite. I quickly get off Drew and walk over to them.
"Um, hi. I guess you know who I am," I say awkwardly. I see Drew walk up behind me, grinning from ear to ear.
"Hey. I'm Sam, this is Riley, Chad, and Daniel. Tyler and John are in their room," says the man in the front. He has black hair and bright blue eyes. I can see many scars on his olive toned face, but they only enhance his beauty. He definitely is eye candy.
The others are similar looking, except one who's black and another who's Asian. All of them are very attractive. Good God, what did I do to end up in a hotel alone with ten gorgeous men?
