NORMANI'S POV.

After a night of games and getting to know each other everyone went to their rooms. Avery and Quinn ended up sharing a room. So did Kat and Riley. Madison got a room to herself. I woke up at about 7:00 which is pretty wary for me but I decided to get up and make breakfast for everyone anyway. I went downstairs and into the kitchen only to find Avery in the kitchen making what looked like... Tree shaped pancakes?

"Uh... hi?" I said but it sounded more like a question.

"Hey" Avery said continuing to spatter pancake batter all over the place.

"What are you doing up so early?" I asked waking over to her.

"I always wake up at 5:00 so I decided to make breakfast" she said sticking her tongue out as she dumped pancake batter into the pan.

"Damn girl! What time do you go to sleep?!?" I asked shocked

"Probably around midnight" she said flipping a tree shaped pancake.

I looked at her shocked. How can she still be so hyper and only get 5 hours of sleep.

"You know that's not very healthy right?" I asked helping her put pancakes on a plate.

She shrugged and looked up at me.

"I get bad nightmares." She said getting out 10 plates and syrup.

I helped her put the pancakes on each of the plates. Each of the pancakes had weird shapes... Defiantly not circles.

"Umm... What did you do at the orphanage so early In the morning?" I asked sitting down at the table.

"Played my guitar" she said simply

"Did you bring it?" I asked curiously

She nodded and ran up stairs without tripping... Impressive. I waited for about 5 minutes until she came back down carrying a red electric guitar and a acoustic guitar both with black straps.

"The amps upstairs I didn't have enough arms to carry it down." She said putting the guitars down and sitting next to me.

"Do you want to play anything?" I asked looking at the guitars that were leaning against the counter.

She thought for a moment and then nodded her head. She walked over to the acoustic guitar and sat down on the kitchen floor crossed legged with the guitar in her lap. She stared to play and sing.

"Well I heard there was a secret chord
that David played and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
Well it goes like this:
The fourth, the fifth,
The minor fall and the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah...

Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you to her kitchen chair
She broke your throne and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah...

Baby I've been here before
I've seen this room and I've walked this floor (you know)
I used to live alone before I knew you
And I've seen your flag on the marble arch
and love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah...

there was a time when you let me know
What's really going on below
But now you never show that to me, do you?
But remember when I moved in you
And the holy dove was moving too
And every breath we drew was Hallelujah
