CHAPTER 13

LAUREN'S POV.

Everyone except Madison were in the kitchen eating some eggs and bacon that Quinn and Normani helped Avery make. I was sitting next to Camz and Quinn with Avery across from me and Dinah and Kat next to her. Ally and Riley were on the ends and Normani was sitting next to Kat.

"If the plants were people and they went to high school what do you think each one would be? Like the nerd or the bully or the jock?" Avery asked randomly.

Everyone turned and starred at her confused.

"Dawg, were did that come from? That's one of the weirdest questions I have ever been asked." Dinah asked Avery watching her closely

"It came from my head obviously, where else would it come from? My butt?" Avery asked crossing her arms and glaring at Dinah. I saw Kat and Quinn roll their eyes out of the corners of my eyes.

"You're crazy Avery" Dinah muttered

"I was think that Jupiter would probably be the Bully, Earth would be the nerdy one, Mars would be that weird kid who always sits in the back like this" she stopped for a moment making a really scary face then continued " Saturn obviously would be the jock. Mercury and Venus would be the schools 'popular' girls and would pretty much rule the school together. Neptune would be that kid who's  good at everything. Uranus would be the kid that everyone makes fun of because of their name, and Pluto would be the one everyone hates for no apparent reason." Avery said putting her feet up on the table.

"Ummm... Pluto's not a planet..." Quinn said looking at Avery skeptically.

"See no apparent reason!" Avery said looking over at Quinn, smirking.

"What do you mean?" Kat asked looking at Riley confused.

"Everyone thinks Pluto isn't a plant when it actually is! So your all just haters" Avery said glaring at all of us.

"Ummmm... alright Avery, anything else on your mind?" I asked laughing.

"Ummmm yes! Why do dogs have tails and not humans? Why was Andrew Jackson such a bitch? Why did the Romans copy the Greeks? When did they figure out that banana's and peanut butter taste so good together? How-"

"Avery shut up!" Kat yelled annoyed

"Fine" Avery said looking down, playing with her thumbs and taking her feet of the table.

I saw Camila and Ally's faces soften and Quinn look down, Dinah and Normani looked at Kat shocked and Riley wasn't paying attention, she was still eating. Kat looked at us and then Avery her features softening.

"Avery I'm-" kat began

"No your right Kat, I need to shut up" Avery said pushing her plate towards me and getting up.

"I'm finished" She said leaving the room.
