We almost kissed! I cannot believe I almost kissed him! I just met him today! What am I doing! But he seems so nice! Ok, Emilia get a grip on yourself! It was the first day, maybe I'm hallucinating, yeah that's it! That boy did not just almost kiss me, we only met today! Just as I'm going crazy, I hear a knock on my bedroom door.
"Who is it?" I said startled.
"It's me" Ryan said while walking into my room.
"Ever heard of privacy Ry?!" I yelled still mad that he interrupted what might or might have not been a dream.
"Hey! Calm down, I'm sorry I interrupted your make out session!" He said seeming sarcastic.
"That was real?" I said with curiosity and concern.
"Well yeah that guy was all over you!" He said smiling and laughing.
"What! No he wasn't!" I said getting angry because my brother actually ruined an amazing moment.
"Ok ok" he said raising his hands to show he was backing off. "Who was that guy anyways?" He said smirking. "None of your business!" I said shoving him out of my room and shutting the door. I was surprised he didn't fight back. After that I was shocked. A boy actually almost kissed me! I fell asleep with a huge smile on my face remembering Shawn would walk to school with me again tomorrow. In the morning, I got ready as fast I could hoping to see Shawn as soon as possible. I raced downstairs passing my brother.
"Hey! Don't you want a ride?" He yelled to me before I ran out the door.
"No I'm good!" I yelled back right before walking out. I looked down the street and saw Shawn walking down. When he looked up from his phone his smile brightened and he started running to catch up to me. I just started walking to school hoping he would catch up.
"Hey Emilia!" He said with a bright smile and out of breath.
"Hey Mendes" I said laughing.
"What! I'm sorry if I lose my breath while running afar distance because someone can't wait a second for me to catch up" he said with a chuckle. He was breathing heavy with made me laugh even more. I couldn't stop, I almost fell but Shawn caught me in his arms and turned me around.
"Are you okay?" He asked his eyebrows furrowed. I stared right into his beautiful brown eyes and almost got lost in them.
"Of course I'm fine! Why wouldn't I be?" I said as we walked of toward the school.
