When the movie was done I realized Shawn had fallen asleep so I carried him up to my room in case my parents would come home early. Shawn wasn't that heavy at all, I've lifted heavier boxes compared to him. I laid him down on my bed and put a blanket over him. Then I went downstairs to do the rest of my homework. I was going to check on Shawn when someone was juggling keys outside of the front door. Crap. It's my parents, they aren't the best people to talk to. If they find out Shawn's here they will kill me. I went to the door and greeted them.
"Hi mom and dad" I said with a smile hoping they aren't mad.
"Where is he?" My dad said sounding calm.
"Who? Ryan? He's at football practice" I said trying to stay calm as well.
"Not Ryan! He's in the car, the boy he was telling us about" he said with a bit of anger. My heart started beating faster by the second.
"You mean Shawn?" I said hoping it wouldn't include him.
"Yes that boy, Ryan said he saw him come into the house" my mother said.
"Um...he left a while ago, why?" I said trying to stay off topic. Knowing that Shawn was still in my room.
"You are not allowed to see him ever again" my mother said with such certainty.
"What?!? Why not?!?" I said feeling the tears pooling in my eyes.
"There is no discussion, I said no boys" my dad said hanging his coat next to the door.
"But he's just a friend!"I yelled sobbing now. I can't stop seeing Shawn, I just can't.
"I said no boys and that's final!" My dad yelled and I ran off crying into my music room. I couldn't see Shawn right now, I had to let out my tears before I go to him. So I played a song on the piano and cried. It was Apologized by One Republic. My favorite sad song, when I was done I went to my room. When I saw Shawn I immediately started crying again. I walked over to my bed and laid right on top of him, placing my head on his chest. I didn't speak and neither did he.
"Were they talking about me?" He croaked out. All I did was cry even more, and hug him as tightly as I possibly could. I fell asleep on him and didn't wake up until morning.
