(sm) She walked passed the bus stop

Shawn was being really nice to me, and I don't know why. Maybe he felt bad for me being the new kid or something. But he did make my first day so much better.
"So how was your first day?" He asked while we were walking back home from school.
"Well it wasn't too bad, I had the best tour guide ever!" I exclaimed trying to make him blush, which he did, showing a light crimson red appearing on his cheeks.
"Well I'm glad I saw you this morning" he said while chuckling a bit. Just then a bus started driving past us. From the back of the bus I could hear laughing and kissing noises. I turned to Shawn and his face was flushed with red. Just as the bus past us, his friends rolled down the windows and all talked at once.
"Don't be out too late Shawny" then they all laughed their heads off. I could see Shawn was really embarrassed so I tried to comfort him after the bus passed.
"Its okay, I could beat those guys up for you" I said trying to sound tough. All he did was laugh.
"I don't think you'll be able to bench the whole ice hockey team, but thanks" he said while nodding his head, a bright smile on his face.
"So tell me about yourself Mendes" I said wanting to know more about him.
"Well what do you want to know?" He asked so I obviously replied with.
"Everything!" My excitement was building as he started talking.
"Wait, isn't that your house?" He said while pointing to my house.
"Oh yeah it is, but I want to keep talking to you" I said hoping he wouldn't leave me.
"Well by my house there's a park?" He said sounding childish to be speaking about going to a park.
"Sounds perfect" I said. We started walking the few blocks and passed his house. He told me that he has a sister named Aaliyah, he loves to sing, and loves Harry Potter. I was so fascinated by him, he's smart funny and dorky. Once we got to the park I raced to the swing set. He trailed after me taking the swing right next to mine.
"Do you like it here?" He asked while we were swinging almost in sync.
"Yes especially because I met you" I smiled and his cheeks turned that crimson red, oh how I loved that.
"Well I should probably be going" I said while getting off the swing.
"I'll walk you home" he said while catching up to me. But then I realized we would pass his house on the way there.
"Well it kinda seems like I'm walking you home since your house is first." I said while chuckling.
"It's fine I'll just walk back home." He said smiling. We basically just walked back to my house making jokes to each other. When we reached my house we reached the steps. I turned around and stared right into his eyes, he stared right back.
"Well I guess I have to go" whispering because of how close we were standing away from each other.
"Or don't" he said while stepping closer to me.
