I showed him that I could play the piano, I was too busy trying to get the notes right that I didn't notice him staring with amazement at what I was doing.
"How was that?" I said after I was done turning to look up at him. All he did was stare into my eyes then moved his staring to my lips. Then, the unbelievable happened we almost kissed...again. But right as we were almost there the bell just had to ring. We both looked up to the intercom, and the morning announcement started playing.
"You know...there's no class in here during homeroom" he said trying to persuade me to stay. It's only homeroom besides I'll be there later. I stayed with him showing him what I could play and then he began singing! His voice is the most beautiful voice in the world. I've never heard anything just like it. I stopped playing the piano and his face went red, I don't think he knew he was singing.
"Your voice is amazing!" I said with excitement. Shawn does seem like a good guy. I look over to face him and he just stares as usual. I giggle at the sight of him staring. He leans in and this time it's the right moment no one around to mess anything up. But just as we almost kissed for the THIRD time, a girl swung the door open and immediately started yelling at Shawn.
"Who is that?!?" She said with anger. I have no idea about what's going on but I don't think it's good.
"You left me for her!!!" She yelled with tears in her eyes. Shawn got up from the piano and walked closer to her.
"Maybe I left you because you cheated on me" the crack in his voice told me that he was hurt by this girl for whatever she did. The girl stormed out of the room and Shawn let out a deep breath turning around to me with his hand on his neck.
"That was Lauren" he told me.
"Oh" I said starting to feel like he wasn't being honest with me. I decided to get up.
"I better be going to class" I said trying to fight back the tears that were coming on.
"Wait...I'll walk with you" he said in a low voice following me. I stopped in my tracks and turned around to face him.
"Aren't your friends looking for you?" I said trying to sound okay.
"Not right now" he said in a whisper. Sending chills through my spine. Then all at once he grabbed my shoulders and smashed his lips onto mine.
