"What are you doing out here in this rain?"

His question was to be expected. However she didn't know how to really answer his question so she simply said, "It's a long story."

He studied her for a moment before letting out a sigh, "Do you need a ride home?"

Violet shook her head no, "I'm not going back."

Her response cause him to raise his brow in questioning, "Alright, but I'm not leaving you out here in this rain so hop on," he said this while handing her the extra helmet he had there with him on his bike.

With slight hesitation she took the helmet from him, putting it on, "I am so going to regret this."

"The only thing you will regret is if you don't keep down because the rain will hurt once we start going."

A groan escaped her as she wrapped her arms around his waist. As he pulled away from the side of the road and began to pick up speed, she quickly discovered why he told her to keep down. The rain felt like bullets hitting her skin with the speed they were going down the road.

"Dammit," she cursed under her breath.

She could hear Julian laugh as she placed her head against his back to use him as a shield away from the rain. Tightening her arms around him, eyes squeezed shut she tried to ignore all the sounds around her. To escape for just a moment as she held on for dear life on the back of the art teacher's motorcycle.
