After eating and sipping away at coffee there at the bar Kylie laid her head down. Looking to Julian she gave him a smile, a content look in her face. She was serene there with curly strands falling down in her face. An angel carved by the heavens.
Her long lashes lowered, hiding those dark eyes in their shadow, "Thank you," the words barely audible.
Julian smiled, taking another sip from his coffee, "It was nothing, but hey I got an idea."
Kylie lifted her head back up eyeing him curiously, "Which is?"
He smirked, walking around the bar to the other side so he was across from her, "Why don't we go out of town to somewhere I think you might like?"
Kylie looked at him questionably with furrowed brows, "Oh really?" she smirked.
     "Really," he return the smirk.
With a roll of her eyes and a shake of her head she threw her hands, "Alright, I'm game."
And with that Julian grabbed his keys, "Then let's go."
Kylie couldn't help the laugh that escaped her as she followed behind him out the door. Heading down the hall and the stairs she found them out the door to the back parking lot. Instead of the motorcycle he went to an old Chevy Truck that had the red paint wearing off of it already. In truth, she was glad to not to have to be on the bike again.
Getting inside the two seater she found the inside to be clean except of a charger plug in and papers on the dash. The interior stained, and probably seen better days it was still appealing.
"So where to Mr. Monroe?" she inquired.
"You'll see, and again, please just call me Julian. We are not at school so there's no need for it," he smiled to her.
"Okay, Julian," she gave a sly smile in return to him.
This caused a laugh to escape him as he started the engine up. Pulling out of the parking lot and onto the road Kylie found herself staring aimeslly out the window. The leaves turning different shades of autumn. Dcorating the ground when they fell.
She closed her eyes for a moment before feeling the vibration of her phone from the pocket of her sweater. Taking it out to check the notification she had gotten she was hesitant to really see what it was. Staring at the screen, her reflection in the ebony staring back at her.
She bit her lip and made her choice to put the phone back in her pocket. It could wait.
