chapter XV - preparations

     With the weekend passing by quick thanks to Mary stealing Kylie away to prepare for Halloween that was this upcoming Saturday. Mary was determined that she dressed up this year and not be lame. Of course she tried to get out of it but Mary wasn't having any of it. It was happening.
    It was Wednesday and so much had already been put together for the haunted house. Outside there was to be games set up including a zombie survival paintball game out on the football field. Majority if the school was set up to be the haunted house and the cafeteria of course would be an area to chill out and grab a bite.
     Kylie was assigned to help out in the haunted house. As in she was to participate by being a scary ghost who comes out of the shadows in the spooky woods with two other girls and guys. She also had to help the four set up the spooky woods area.
     The set up had to be done by Friday because the school day was going to be a half day to open the haunted house up that afternoon. Afterall it was to be Halloween night.
     Till then Kylie was helping out with preparing the spooky forest of the lost souls with the others. So far it was going well. Kylie helped set up fake plants all around the "trail" as the boys attempted to put up fake trees of cardboard and covering them with fake vines from the nearby hobby lobby.
     She had a good feeling this was going to turn out pretty good. It already was turning out pretty well. Examining the room she could only imagine how the finish product would look.
     Then her train of thought was interrupted by the announcements coming on overhead announcing it was time for lunch. Kylie sighed with relief till she heard her name, "Kylie Rose you are needed in Mr. Monroe's room."
    "Seriously," she sighed under her breath.
