Lacey's POV

Chapter 19: Witchy Vu Vu

Song: Tom Odell- Heal

Klaus's hand is looped in mine, eyes looking at me lovingly as I turn the knob. He quickly kisses my cheek. "You're going home, love."

"I hope so."

We step inside the cottage. It's small, everything seems to be in one room, like an apartment or a hotel suite. Sophie comes bounding in at the intruders, wide eyed.

"Klaus? What are you two doing here?"

"Sophie Deveraux. We have a deal to negotiate."

"You couldn't have called?! Or knocked even?!" She exclaims. Obviously she hadn't expected us.

"It's not as effective." He replies, grinning mischievously. She rolls her eyes. "Look, I have things that I need to take care of. Just make this quick."

"Such as?" I pry.  "I didn't expect a witch with no magic to have such a lengthy agenda."

"What is it that you want? To negotiate with me?" She demands, clearly impatient with us. Somehow this makes me angry. Maybe if she hadn't dragged me into New Orleans, trapped me here and the other Mikaelsons, we wouldn't be in this mess!

Klaus notices my discomfort and accusing glare, though I haven't even said my feelings aloud. That man reads me like a book.

"Lacey has family in Mystic Falls. Family she hasn't seen in months. I want to take her home."

"The Mikaelson boys aren't enough for you?" She asks with a sneer. My eyes widened, my face grows hot with anger. "Of course they are! I have brothers back home! I'm homesick. We just want to go back for the weekend."

She ignores me. Her focus is on my stomach. "How far along are you?"

"Eight and a half months." I reply, putting a hand on it. Sophie sighs. "You have a weekend."

My face explodes into a grin. "But Klaus has to come with you. A weekend and only a weekend. Or so help me god I will send every witch in the Quarter after you." I nod, agreeing to the terms. "You can go home when Marcel is defeated and she is born." Sophie promises, turning away from us.

"She?" I ask, stopping her before she could leave.

"Yes. Have you picked a name?"

"It's bad luck to say it out loud."

We walk back home, laughing and joking with each other. Since it was Wednesday, I still have a few more days before we plan on leaving.

"You have picked a name?" Klaus asked curiously. "I've thought over a few. But I haven't picked one yet." I reply, smiling a bit at his enthsiasm. "Are you planning on sharing those names with me?" He asked, an amused smile on his face.

"Of course." I said.

"Belle, Erika, Gemina, Genevieve, Danielle - "

"Danielle? Like that girl that was there at your brother's death? She didn't save him why would we name our child after her?" I laugh. "It's a nice name, Klaus. I hadn't even thought of it that way."

"Oh?"

"Maybe it did cross my mind..." I confess.

"But we can take it off the list -"

"It is a nice name."

"Okay."

"We don't have to pick now anyway. We have four months to decide. Klaus nods, putting an arm around my shoulder as we walk. He pulls me closer to him, brushing his lips against my own.

"I can't wait to have a child with you, darling."

"Really?"

"Really."

I smile as we continued walking. The streets of New Orleans are gorgeous, and The French Quarter really is the most magnificent. The breeze swirls through the trees, the sound of children laughing brightens the city.

"What now?" I ask Klaus.

"We go home."

"And then?"

"We take over New Orleans. I won't let Marcel hurt you any longer."

I smile. "Okay."

"Okay."

"They're back, Elijah!" The voice of Kol shouts, ringing throughout the house. We'd only just opened the front door...

"Hey." I smile, greeting him.

"Good news."

"I'm going home this weekend."

"That's great!" Kol says, congratulating me. "I would attempt to get along with your brothers, but - "

"They hate your guts and you tried killing them each at least once?" I suggest.

"Well there's that."

I laugh. "Is there any food? I'm starving."

Klaus looks at me in shock. "You ate a five minutes ago!"

"That was like a miniature pastry from Starbucks. I mean like an entire large pizza! Two if that's not enough!" I was joking about the two pizzas to myself, I'll share them. He agrees after I remind him I'm eating for two.

"Obviously it's movie night."

Kind of a filler, oh well. Picture of Sophie on the side !

QOTC: Honestly, do you like TVD or TO better?

AOTC: The Vampire Diaries. It's a classic, and will always be my favorite. The Originals is incredible, but I just get more excited on Thursdays rather than Tuesdays.

Check out my new story: The Right Partner (Captain America Fanfic) ? It would mean a lot !
