I'm gonna go ahead and tell you this is going to be a TINY chapter. I promise though, the next one will be really good, okay? Sadly, that might also be the last chapter. We'll see ;)
Chapter 21: The Call

I shoot up in my bed, waking up for no apparent reason. I look beside me, only to find messy empty sheets. Klaus mentioned something about getting up early to feed. But this is early. It's still dark out. It's been a long day of driving back to Louisianna, I'm surprised I didn't sleep in more.
I feel very funny. Not a bad funny, just... Different. Something's off.
"Elijah!"
Instantly he is at my side. "What is it? What's wrong?"
"I don't know. Can you turn on a light or something?"
He does, I push away the blanket to stand up, but something stops me.
I cover my mouth to surpress a gasp, and look up at Elijah who shares my shocked expression. "Lacey, is that - "
"Get Klaus on the phone. Now. And help me up.
Klaus's POV
"Lacey? Are you alright?" I speak throughthe phone. "Yeah. I mean I think so. Where are you?" She asks.
"Only a couple miles away. What's the matter?"
"I'm in Elijah's car. He's driving, Kol's with us. We're going to the hospital."
"Bloody hell. Are you alright? Is the baby okay?"
"Yeah." I can hear the grin in her voice. "I'm fine. We're fine. Klaus, my water broke. She's coming."
