Nora X Ren

Flip after flip after flip. Ren made stacks of warm and fluffy pancakes as he poured in the pan a circle of fresh batter. He hummed and hummed and hummed until -

"REEENN!!"

After 2.5 seconds, Ren dropped everything he had and ran towards Nora screaming. He tried to figure out which she was in until he found her in her bed.

"Nora, what is it??" Ren asked with extreme caution. "Is something wrong?? Are you hurt?? Did something break?? Did you cut yourself?? Was there a Grimm attack??"

Nora just stayed shut as she got out from her bed nonchalantly. She then walked towards him and said, "I'm hungry. Can we have pancakes?"

Ren, with his eye twitching, slowly pointed out at the kitchen.

"I am making some..." he growled. "Wait in the kitchen."

The cheery red-head skipped down to the kitchen as the aroma of buttery pancakes filled her nostrils. Jumping and squealing in excitement, Nora basically threw herself on the dining chair and stuffed herself with Ren's perfect creation.

"Please slow down, Nora", Ren warned as he entered the kitchen. "Last time you stuffed yourself you threw up during our Grimm hunt."

"Did not! It was Velvet's raisin cookies that gave me food poisoning", Nora argued back.

"Cookies give you food poisoning?"

"No, just the raisins itself."

As Ren chuckled at her morning behavior, he flipped more pancakes into the same plate, making a giant stack.

"What should we do today, Ren?" Nora asked with her stuffed mouth.

"Maybe we should just rest for the day. We've constantly gone to many parties throughout this month, which by the way, is half of our summer."

"Come on! You don't want to go to another party today? I hear Coco is gonna throw a glow-in-the-dark tea party with Velvet."

"No, Nora", Ren demanded.

"Please??" Nora whined.

"I said no."

"But -"

"I've made my decision, Nora", he spoke again. "Now, if you keep whining like a little child, I will force you to eat Brussels sprouts for dinner, alright?"

"Yuck!" Nora squealed in disgust. "No way am I ever going to eat that!"

"But you will if you keep acting up."

The red-headed female frowned as she crossed her arms.

"Fine..."

So, they sat there and ate their breakfast as they gained their energy from Ren's fluffy pancakes.

Because Ren had suggested to rest for the day, Nora was bored out her mind as she watched videos from her scroll. She watched from her social media that Yang had posted a video of the glow-in-the-dark tea party with loud music and crowded people.

"Reeeeeen", Nora groaned. "How come they get to go to the party and we can't?"

But the Asian male ignored the red-headed girl as he meditated near the window. 

"Ren, how come they get to go to the party and we can't?"

He focused away from Nora's voice as he tried to relax himself with river stones around him and burning incense. 

"Ren, how come they get to go to the party and we can't?" she repeated.

Ren twitched his eye from her annoying question, which he chose to ignore once more.
